Charlie Puth unleashes sophomore album “Voicenotes”

American singer, songwriter, and record producer Charlie Puth has unleashed his sophomore studio collection online.

“Voicenotes” – featuring singles “Attention,” “How Long?,” “If You Leave Me Now,” “Change” and “Done for Me” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The highly-anticipated project yields songwriting contributions from Jacob Kasher, whose recent credits include Meghan Trainor’s “No Excuses,” Jason Mraz’s “Have it All,” Chromeo’s “Must’ve Been,” Zara Larsson’s “Either,” Liam Payne’s “Bedroom Floor,” and 5 Seconds of Summer’s “Want You Back.”

Other musicians backing Puth on the follow-up to 2016’s “Nine Track Mind” are Frank-E, Ross Golan, Johan Carlsson, Savan Kotecha, JRY, Rami Yacoub, Carl Falk, Jason Evigan, Sean Douglas, Ben Johnson, Fraser Chruchill, Rickard Goransson, James Alan, and Tobias Jesso Jr.

Florence and the Machine reveal artwork, tracklisting, release date for new album

Florence and the Machine have confirmed the details for their upcoming album.

The British indie rock band christened their fourth studio collection “High as Hope” and will release it on June 29 via Virgin EMI Records (UK) and Republic Records (US).

Current promotional single “Hunger” – which was written by lead vocalist Florence Welch alongside Emile Haynie, Thomas Bartlett, and Tobias Jesso Jr. – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

The follow-up to 2015’s “How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful” boasts further songwriting contributions from Andrew Wyatt (“No Choir”), Sampha (“Grace”), Jamie XX (“Big God”) and Brett Shaw (“South London Forever”).

Current single “The Way I Am” – which was produced by Puth and co-written by regular collaborator Jacob “JKash” Kasher – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2016’s “Nine Track Mind” boasts further productions and songwriting contributions from Ross Golan, Justin “Frank-E” Franks, John “JRY” Ryan, Johan Carlsson, and Tobias Jesso Jr.

Jessie Reyez drafts Babyface, The Rascals for new single “Body Count”

Canadian singer/songwriter Jessica Reyes, known professionally as Jessie Reyez, has released her new promotional single online.

“Body Count” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was produced by Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds alongside Khristopher Riddick-Tynes and Leon Thomas of The Rascals, who are also responsible for Zendaya’s “Something New,” Ariana Grande’s “Baby I,” Samantha Jade’s “Shake That,” Jessica Mauboy’s “Can I Get a Moment?,” Ravaughn’s “Best Friend,” Deborah Cox’s “Kinda Miss You,” and Foxes’ “Scar.”

Reyez’s upcoming debut album – featuring further contributions from Jahaan Sweet, Boi-1da, Tobias Jesso Jr., Happy Perez, Fred Ball, Two Inch Punch, Chris Braide, Salaam Remi, Hazebanga, Fredro, Chris Loco, Jason Evigan, and Poo Bear – is scheduled to arrive later this year via FMLY / Polydor Records.

Reyez also co-wrote “One Kiss” for Scottish record producer and DJ Calvin Harris. The Dua Lipa-featuring track topped the UK Singles Chart and peaked to number two on the US Billboard Hot Dance / Electronic Songs Chart.

Florence + the Machine have announced the details for their new single.

The British indie rock band christened “Hunger” as their next promotional cut and will release it on May 3rd via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by lead vocalist Florence Welch alongside Tobias Jesso Jr., whose resume boasts additional works with Adele (“When We Were Young”), Sia (“Alive”), Pink (“You Get My Love”), John Legend (“Same Old Story”), Shawn Mendes (“Roses”) and Niall Horan (“Slow Hands”).

Production duties on “Hunger” were collectively handled by Thomas Bartlett and Emile Haynie, who is also responsible for Bruno Mars’ “Locked Out of Heaven,” Dua Lipa’s “New Love,” Sam Smith’s “Baby, You Make Me Crazy,” Emeli Sande’s “My Kind of Love,” and Troye Sivan’s “Talk Me Down.”

Florence + the Machine’s next project – featuring previous single “Sky Full of Song” – is scheduled to arrive later this year via Republic Records (US) and Virgin EMI Records (UK).

The still-untitled collection follows 2015’s “How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful,” which topped the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles “What Kind of Man,” “Ship to Wreck” and “Delilah.”

“Change” – featuring James Taylor – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Ross Golan and Johan Carlsson, who previously teamed up with Puth on “Nine Track Mind” cut “Then There Was You.”

Puth’s upcoming second album “Voicenotes” – featuring previous promotional singles “Done for Me,” “If You Leave Me Now,” “How Long” and “Attention” – is scheduled to arrive on May 11 via Artist Partners Group / Atlantic Records.

Jessie Reyez teams up with Lewis Capaldi for new single “Rush”

Canadian singer/songwriter Jessie Reyez has teamed with fellow recording artist Lewis Capaldi for his new promotional single “Rush,” which is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

Production duties on “Rush” were handled by James “Malay” Ho, whose resume boasts additional works with Sam Smith (“Midnight Train”), Frank Ocean (“Nikes”), Zayn Malik (“It’s You”), Alessia Cara (“Wild Things”), Tori Kelly (“Talk”), Alicia Keys (“One Thing”) and John Legend (“Green Light”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Reyez is expected to release her first studio collection later this year via Universal Music Group / Polydor Records.
