Dua Lipa enlists Tayla Parx for new collaboration

Dua Lipa has enlisted fellow recording artist Tayla Parx for a new collaboration.

Parx recently co-wrote “Thank U, Next” for Ariana Grande alongside Victoria Monet, Tommy Brown, Charles Anderson, and Micheal Foster. The track peaked to number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart.

Parx’s current promotional single “Slow Dancing,” taken from her upcoming project “We Need to Talk,” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Meanwhile, Dua Lipa is expected to release her sophomore album next year via Warner Music Group / Warner Brothers Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly yields additional contributions from Jason Evigan, Kamille, Savan Kotecha, Caroline Ailin, Ilya, Tove Lo, Sasha Sloan, Andrew Wyatt, Ilsey Juber, Koz, Lindy Robbins, MNEK, Sarah Hudson, Grades, Emily Warren, Dayyon Alexander, Sarah Aarons, and Clarence Coffee Jr.

Dua Lipa has teased a new collaboration with Tove Lo.

“Spent two days writing in the studio with this incredibly funny extremely talented human being @ToveLo,” the British singer/songwriter posted to Instagram on Tuesday (November 06, 2018).

Born Ebba Tove Elsa Nilsson, the Swedish artist previously co-penned songs for Ellie Goulding (“Love Me Like You Do”), Nick Jonas (“Close”), Lea Michele (“Thousand Needles”), Adam Lambert (“Rumors”), Hilary Duff (“Sparks”), Lorde (“Homemade Dynamite”) and Zara Larsson (“Skippin’ a Beat”).

Lo’s latest studio collection “Blue Lips” – featuring productions from Jack & Coke, Ali Payami, Lukas “Lulou” Loules, Alex Hope, and The Struts – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

Meanwhile, Dua Lipa is expected to release her sophomore album next year via Warner Music Group / Warner Brothers Records.

Tove Lo hits the studio with Fred Ball for new collaboration

Swedish singer/songwriter Ebba Tove Elsa Nilsson, known professionally as Tove Lo, has enlisted Roc Nation signee Fred Ball for a new collaboration.

The Roc Nation signee recently produced and co-wrote “Heaven” for American recording artist Justine Skye alongside Charles “Prince Charlez” Hinshaw Jr. The track appears on Skye’s debut album, “Ultraviolet,” out now via Universal Music Group / Roc Nation Records.

Ball’s resume boasts additional works with Rihanna (“Love on the Brain”), Toni Braxton (“Deadwood”), Jessie Ware (“Slow Me Down”), Zara Larsson (“One Mississippi”), Madison Beer (“Say it to My Face”), Astrid S (“Does She Know”), Nina Nesbitt (“Take You to Heaven”) and All Saints (“Summer Rain”).

Meanwhile, Tove Lo is expected to release her upcoming project later this year via Universal Music Group / Island Records.

Icona Pop reunite with MSTR ROGERS for new single “Brightside”

Icona Pop have confirmed the details for their new single online.

The Swedish duo – consisting of Caroline Hjelt and Aino Jawo – christened “Brightside” as the first promotional cut from their upcoming third album and will release it on October 21 via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

“Brightside” was co-written and produced by MSTR ROGERS, who previously teamed up with Icona Pop on the Fransisca Hall and Anjulie Persaud-penned “In the Stars” as well as “Someone Who Can Dance.”

The Australian hitmaker’s resume boasts further works with Ella Eyre (“If I Go”), Rebecca Ferguson (“I Hope”), Demi Lovato (“Fire Starter”), Neon Jungle (“So Alive”), Bea Miller (“Fire ‘N Gold”) and Delta Goodrem (“Not Me, Not I”).

Meanwhile, Icona Pop’s next studio collection under TEN Music Group reportedly delivers additional alliances with Patrik Berger (Carly Rae Jepsen), Noonie Bao (Dua Lips), Charli XCX (Selena Gomez), Tove Lo (Ellie Goulding), Jason Evigan (Britney Spears) and Sean Douglas (Enrique Iglesias).

Tove Lo has confirmed the details for her sophomore album.

The Swedish singer-songwriter – real name Ebba Tove Elsa Nilsson – christened her second studio collection “Lady Wood” and will release it on October 28 via Universal Music Group / Island Records.

Lead single “Cool Girl” – now available for download via iTunes – was written by Tove Lo along with Jakob Jerlström and Ludvig Söderberg.

“Lady Wood” reportedly boasts further contributions from songwriting and production team Captain Cuts, who also worked with the likes of Phoebe Ryan [Columbia], Carly Rae Jepsen [Interscope], and Halsey [Capitol].

Tove Lo’s debut studio collection, 2014’s “Queen of the Clouds,” peaked to number fourteen on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Habits (Stay High),” “Talking Body” and “Moments.”

On the songwriting front, Tove Lo co-penned Ellie Goulding’s “Still Falling for You” along with fellow Swedish musicians Ilya Salmanzadeh, Rickard Goransson, and Johan “Shellback” Schuster.

Ellie Goulding to release “Still Falling for You” as new single

Ellie Goulding is gearing up for the release of her new single.

The British singer-songwriter christened “Still Falling for You” as her next promotional cut and it will be included on the original motion picture soundtrack “Bridget Jones’ Baby.”

“Still Falling for You” was written by Tove Lo along with Rickard Goransson (Natalie La Rose, Ariana Grande), Ilya Salmanzadeh (Jennifer Lopez, Prince Royce) and Shellback (Adele, Taylor Swift).

Goulding’s latest studio collection “Delirium” is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Polydor Records (UK) and Interscope Records (US).

The follow-up to 2013’s “Halcyon” peaked to number three on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned three singles in the shape of “On My Mind,” “Army” and “Something in the Way Move.”

Nick Jonas confirms new album “Last Year Was Complicated”

Nick Jonas has confirmed the details for his upcoming third album.

The actor-singer-songwriter-record producer christened his next studio collection “Last Year Was Complicated” and will release it on June 10 via Safehouse Records in partnership with Island Records.

Lead single “Close” – featuring Swedish songstress Tove Lo – will be available for download from March 25 via iTunes and all other online outlets.

The keenly-awaited project reportedly boasts productions from Max Martin (Tinashe), Jason Evigan (Fifth Harmony), Sir Nolan (Rita Ora), Jamie Scott (Christina Perri) and Ali Payami (Robin Thicke).

On the songwriting front, Jonas has teamed up with Bebe Rexha (Iggy Azalea), Dewain Whitmore (James Blunt), Savan Kotecha (Tori Kelly), Rickard Goransson (Ariana Grande) and Paul Shelton (Frank Ocean).
