Blaque unleashes shelved third album “Torch”

American girl group Blaque – composed of members Shamri Devoe, Brandi Williams and the dearly departed Natina Reed – have unleashed their shelved third studio collection online.

“Torch”  is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Originally set to release in 2003, Torch delivers productions from Missy Elliott, Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, Fred “Uncle Freddie” Jerkins, Linda Perry, Warryn Campbell, Jazz Nixon, Nisan Stewart, and Craig Brockman.

On the songwriting front, Blaque worked with Tweet, LaShawn “Big Shiz” Daniels, Wirlie Morris, Tamara Savage, Patrick “J. Que” Smith, Harold Lilly, Traci Hale, Dante Nolan, Ethan Farmer, Kenny and Charlie Bereal.

Mick Schultz teases new collaboration with Kelly Rowland

Mick Schultz has teased a new collaboration with Kelly Rowland.

“Recording something special with @kellyrowland,” the American record producer and songwriter tweeted on Monday (March 27, 2017).

Schultz’s production and songwriting credits include Jeremih’s “Birthday Sex,” Zendaya’a “Replay,” SoMo’s “Show Off,” Jessie James’ “Psycho Girlfriend,” Jenna Andrews’ “Oil & Water,” and Rihanna’s “Desperado.”

His extensive resume boasts further works with artists/fellow musicians Maejor, Tiffany Fred, Paul “Phamous” Shelton, Lights, James Fauntleroy, Chloe Angelides, Iain James, Stephenie Jones, Claude Kelly, Liza Owen, Jesse St. John, Pia Mia, Stanaj, Rook Monroe, Georgia Ku, Derrus Rachel, and Euanitta.

Meanwhile, Rowland is expected to release her upcoming fifth album, which serves as the follow-up to 2013’s “Talk a Good Game,” later this year.

Other producers expected to appear on the still-untitled project are Tricky Stewart (Nicole Scherzinger), The-Dream (Celine Dion), Shama “Sak Pase” Joseph (Jennifer Lopez), Dem Jointz (Brandy), Maejor (Justin Bieber), Shea Taylor (Ne-Yo) and Mel & Mus (Keyshia Cole).

Traci Hale is an Atlanta-based American pop and R&B songwriter and vocalist who’s known for co-writing Mya’s “Case of the Ex,” Britney Spears’ “Selfish,” Nivea’s “Okay,” Rihanna’s “What’s My Name,” Brandy’s “Top of the World,” Nicole Scherzinger’s “Wet,” and Neon Hitch’s “Bad Dog.”

Singer/songwriter Kelly Rowland is scheduled to collaborate with Pharrell Williams for her upcoming as-yet-untitled fifth studio album.

The pair previously teamed up on “Talk a Good Game” tracks “Street Life,” “Stand in Front of Me” and “Feet to the Fire.”

Other notable credits by Williams include Leah Labelle’s “Lolita” [Epic Records], Beyonce’s “Blow” [Columbia Records], Ed Sheeran’s “Sing” [Atlantic Records] and Kylie Minogue’s “I Was Gonna Cancel” [Parlophone Records].

Singer/songwriter Kelly Rowland is currently recording new material for her upcoming as-yet-untitled fifth studio album.

Among the musicians drafted for the project are songwriting team Bloodline, which consists of sisters Nyla, Nyanda, Tasha and Candace Thorbourne.

Some of their notable credits are “Say Yes” by Nicole Scherzinger [Interscope Records] and “Follow the Leader” by Wisin & Yandel [WY Records].

Their extensive resume also includes works for Christina Aguilera [RCA Records], Jennifer Lopez [Capitol Records], Craig David [Universal Music] and Christina Milian [Young Money Records].

Bloodline member Nyla recently collaborated with Sean Paul on the track “Pornstar,” taken from the dancehall artist’s latest album, “Full Frequency,” out now via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

Meanwhile, among the other musicians expected to appear on Kelly Rowland’s upcoming LP are Christopher “Tricky” Stewart, Terius “The-Dream” Nash, Diane Warren, Lonny Bereal, Traci Hale, and Andre Merritt.

Conor Maynard has added Elof Loelv to the list of hitmakers for his upcoming sophomore album, out soon via Warner Music Group / Parlophone Records.

Recent songwriting and production credits by Loelv include “All Night” by Icona Pop [Warner Music Group / Big Beat Records] and “Stay” by Rihanna featuring Mikky Ekko [Universal Music Group / Island Def Jam Recordings].

He also collaborated with the likes of Niki and the Dove [Mercury Records], Erik Hassle [Island Records] and Pixie Lott [Mercury Records].

Other musicians backing Maynard on the follow-up to 2012’s “Contrast” are Talay Riley (Ellie Goulding, Christina Aguilera), Traci Hale (Britney Spears, Nicole Scherzinger) and Erika Nuri (Christina Milian, Fantasia Barrino).

Conor Maynard has recruited the songwriting and production services of Labrinth for his upcoming sophomore album, scheduled for release later this year via Warner Music Group / Parlophone Records.

The British hitmaker – real name Timothy McKenzie – is responsible for helming tracks such as “Love Drunk” by Loick Essien [RCA Records], “Pass Out” by Tinie Tempah [Parlophone Records], “Neva Soft” by Ms. Dynamite [Relentless Records] and “Lost in Paradise” by Rihanna [Island Def Jam Recordings].

He is also currently working on the follow-up to 2012’s “Electronic Earth.” That release debuted at number two on the UK Albums Chart. It also delivered six hit singles in the shape of “Let the Sun Shine,” “Earthquake,” “Last Time,” “Express Yourself,” “Treatment” and “Beneath Your Beautiful (featuring Emeli Sande).”

Meanwhile, the new collection by Maynard will boast further songwriting contributions from Anne Preven (Beyonce, Adam Lambert), Traci Hale (Rihanna, Nicole Scherzinger and Erika Nuri (Brandy, Christina Milian).
