Melanie Amaro has teamed up with Jonathan “J.R.” Rotem for her upcoming debut album, “Truly,” which is due in the United States on March 12 via Sony Music Entertainment / Syco Music / Epic Records.

Recent songwriting and production credits by Jonathan “J.R.” Rotem include “Marilyn Monroe” by Nicki Minaj [Universal Music Group / Republic Records], “Young Homie” by Chris Rene [Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records] and “Lick Ya Down” by Cover Drive [Universal Music Group / Polydor Records].

Melanie Amaro has revealed the official tracklist for her upcoming debut album, “Truly,” which is due on March 12 via Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records.

New single “Long Distance” was helmed by Anne Preven (Jordin Sparks, Lea Michele), Bonnie McKee (Carly Rae Jepsen, Kelly Clarkson) and Christopher “Tricky” Stewart (Katy Perry, Whitney Houston).

Other musicians backing Amaro on the new collection are Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins (Janet Jackson, Nelly Furtado), Olivia “Livvi Franc” Waithe (Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears), Kenneth “Soundz” Coby (Justin Bieber, Usher Raymond) and Crystal Nicole (Brandy Norwood, Kelly Rowland).

Singer/songwriter Ciara has enlisted the production services of Michael Williams for her upcoming fifth album, “One Woman Army,” which is scheduled for release in early 2013 via Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records.

Better known as Mike WiLL Made It, the hip hop and R&B hitmaker is responsible for tracks such as “Neva End” by Future featuring Kelly Rowland [Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records], “Pour it Up” by Rihanna [Universal Music Group / Island Def Jam Recordings] and “Do You Know What You have?” by Brandy [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records].

The follow-up to “Love Me Now” was helmed by Bonnie McKee (Leona Lewis, Nicole Scherzinger), Anne Preven (Jordin Sparks, Pixie Lott) and Christopher “Tricky” Stewart (Tamar Braxton, Christina Milian).

Melanie Amaro has confirmed the title of her new single.

The American songstress has christened “Long Distance” as the third promotional single from her upcoming debut album, “Truly,” which is due in early 2013 via Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records.

Born Olivia Waithe, the singer/songwriter has previously co-written tracks such as “Shake You Up” by Leona Lewis [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records], “Don’t Fail Me Now” by Melanie Amaro [Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records] and “Red Hot Kinda Love” by Christina Aguilera [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records].
