Yuna confirms new promotional single “Blank Marquee”

Malaysian singer/songwriter Yunalis Zarai, professionally known as Yuna, has confirmed “Blank Marquee” as her next promotional single.

The G-Eazy-featuring track was co-written by Chloe Angelides, whose other credits include Demi Lovato’s “Ruin the Friendship,” Selena Gomez’s “Fetish,” Era Istrefi’s “No I Love Yous,” and Tinashe’s “Player.”

Production duties on “Blank Marquee” were handled by Robin Hannibal, who is also responsible for Niia’s “Face,” Jacob Banks’ “Unknown (To You),” Kacy Hill’s “Am I,” Erik Hassle’s “No Words,” Kimbra’s “Human,” Lion Babe’s “Where Do We Go,” and DNCE’s “TV in the Morning.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Yuna’s upcoming fourth international studio album – featuring previous promotional single “Forevermore” – is scheduled to arrive later this year via Universal Music Group / Verve Records.

Madonna delivers new promotional single “I Rise”

Madonna has delivered her new promotional single online.

“I Rise” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Starrah, whose other credits include Rihanna’s “Needed Me,” Calvin Harris’ “Feels,” Tinashe’s “No Drama,” Camila Cabello’s “Havana,” Katy Perry’s “Swish Swish,” and Halsey’s “Now or Never.”

Production duties on “I Rise” were handled by Jason Evigan, who is also responsible for Maroon 5’s “Girls Like You,” David Guetta’s “Dangerous,” Fifth Harmony’s “Lonely Night,” Bebe Rexha’s “Ferrari,” and Clean Bandit’s “Baby.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Madonna’s upcoming fourteenth album “Madame X” – featuring lead promotional single “Medeliin” – is scheduled to arrive on June 14 via Universal Music Group / Interscope Records.

Kelly Rowland enlists Raye, Mike Sabath, Sounwave for new collaboration

American singer, songwriter, and actress Kelly Rowland has enlisted Raye, Mike Sabath, and Sounwave for a new collaboration.

British recording artist Raye (born Rachel Keen) previously co-wrote for John Legend (“A Good Night”), Ellie Goulding (“Sixteen”), Hailee Steinfeld (“Capital Letters”), Rita Ora (“Proud”) and Charli XCX (“After the Afterparty”).

Meanwhile, Soundwave and Mike Sabath have collectively produced cuts for Kali Uchis (“Tyrant”), Liam Payne (“Familiar”), Little Mix (“Wasabi”), The Weeknd (“Pray for Me”), Madison Beer (“Hurts Like Hell”), Kendrick Lamar (“All the Stars”), Bea Miller (“It’s Not U, It’s Me”) and Raleigh Ritchie (“Overdose”).

Rowland’s current single “Crown” – which was co-written by Colby O’Donis, Varren Wade, Harmony “H-Money” Samuels, and Edgar “Johnny Velvet” Etienne – is now available via all other digital streaming outlets.

Her upcoming fifth studio collection, and follow-up to 2013’s “Talk a Good Game,” is expected to arrive later this year via Island Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers additional alliances with Da Internz, Mick Schultz, J. Que, The Stereotypes, Bianca Atterberry, Darhyl Camper, Prince Charlez, Ray BLK, Nana Rogues, Black Coffee, and The Rascals.

Mabel announces title, release date, tracklisting for debut album

Mabel has announced the details for her upcoming debut album.

The British singer/songwriter has dubbed her first studio collection “High Expectations” and will release it on July 12 via Polydor Records.

Current promotional single “Don’t Call Me Up” – which was co-written by Camille “Kamille” Purcell and produced by Steven “Steve Mac” McCutcheon – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

Besides confirmed collaborators Marlon Roudette and Kelly Kiara, the highly-anticipated anticipated project reportedly delivers additional alliances with Fraser T. Smith, Jin Jin, Electric, Negin Djafari, Cass Lowe, Pawws, Jonny Coffer, Olivia Deano, Bless Beats, Amy Wadge, Oscar Scheller, and TMS.

Madonna has unveiled the artwork, release date, and tracklisting for her upcoming album.

The American singer/songwriter will release her fourteenth studio collection, “Madame X,” on June 14 via Interscope Records.

Lead promotional single “Medellin” – featuring Maluma – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

Among the songwriters and producers backing Madonna on “Madame X” are Mike Dean, Starrah, Jeff Bhasker, Fred Ball, Billboard, Stiven Rojas, Edgar Barrera, Diplo, Jason Evigan, and Mirwais Ahmadzaï.

Madonna drafts Maluma for new single “Medellin”

Madonna has confirmed the details for her new single.

The American singer/songwriter (born Madonna Louise Ciccone) christened “Medellin” as the first promotional cut from her upcoming fourteenth album, “Madame X,” which will arrive later this year via Interscope Records.

As reported in various media outlets, “Medellin” – which features fellow recording artist Maluma – is scheduled to drop on April 17 via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Among the musicians backing Madonna on “Madame X,” which serves as the follow-up to 2015’s “Rebel Heart,” are Mike Dean, Brittany “Starrah” Hazzard, Fred Ball, Mathieu “Billboard” Jomphe, and Mirwais Ahmadzaï.

Amber Mark shares music video for new single “Mixer”

Amber Mark has shared the music video for her new single online.

The visual clip for “Mixer” was posted to the American singer/songwriter’s Vevo channel on Friday (April 5, 2019).

The track was written by Mark alongside Andrew Wyatt, whose other credits include Lady Gaga’s “Shallow,” Dua Lipa’s “New Love,” Lykke Li’s “So Sad, So Sexy,” Charlie XCX’s “Die Tonight,” Lorde’s “Perfect Places,” Bruno Mars’s “When I Was Your Man,” and Liam Gallagher’s “Chinatown.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Mark’s upcoming project – featuring further contributions from Two Inch Punch, Sarah Aarons, Julian Bunetta, Noah Breakfast, and Jeff Gitty – is expected to arrive later this year via Jasmine Music / PMR Music in partnership with Virgin EMI Records.
