Hailee Steinfeld teams up with MNEK for new single “Colour”

Hailee Steinfeld has teamed up with MNEK for his new single “Colour,” which will arrive on June 1 via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

The track was written by MNEK (real name Uzoechi Emenike) alongside fellow recording artist Anne-Marie Nicholson and Dutch record producer Raoul Chen (known professionally as Diztortion).

MNEK’s debut album – featuring current single “Tongue” – is scheduled for release later this year via Digital Teddy / Virgin EMI Records.

He also produced and co-wrote “Deserve” for Christina Aguilera alongside Julia Michaels. The track appears on Aguilera’s upcoming eighth album, “Liberation,” out on June 15 via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

Meanwhile, Steinfeld’s next project reportedly yields contributions from TMS, Caroline Ailin, Ryan Tedder, Zach Skelton, Casey Smith, Billboard, Asia Whiteacre, Rissi Rissi, Noah Breakfast, Ali Tamposi, Rami Yaqoub, Tayla Parx, Albin Nedler, Whitney Phillips, Justin Tranter, and Julia Michaels.

Shawn Mendes releases new self-titled album

Shawn Mendes has released his third album online.

The self-titled collection – featuring singles “In My Blood,” “Lost in Japan,” “Youth,” “Where Were You in the Morning,” and “Nervous” – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

On the follow-up to 2016’s “Illuminate,” Mendes has reunited with regular collaborators Teddy Geiger, Scott Harris, and Geoffrey Warburton.

Other musicians backing Mendes on the album are Joel Little, Ryan Tedder, Zach Skelton, Ed Sheeran, Johnny McDaid, Julia Michaels, Ian Kirkpatrick, Nate Mercereau, Amy Allen, Louis Bell, Fred Gibson, and John Mayer.

Grace Carter shares music video for new single “Saving Grace”

Grace Carter has shared the music video for her new single online.

The visual clip for “Saving Grace” was posted to the British singer/songwriter’s Vevo channel on Thursday (May 24, 2018).

Co-written by Rob Geragthy and collectively produced by Stephen “Koz” Kozmeniuk and The 23rd; “Saving Grace” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Carter’s upcoming debut project – featuring previous singles “Silence,” “Ashes” and “Silhouette” – is expected to arrive later this year via Polydor Records.

The still-untitled project yields additional alliances with Mike Dean (Beyonce, Kanye West), Justin Parker (Kenzie May, Ellie Goulding), Martin Sjolie (Arlissa, Sam Smith) and Om’Mas Keith (Yuna, Tommy Genesis).

Florence and the Machine reveal artwork, tracklisting, release date for new album

Florence and the Machine have confirmed the details for their upcoming album.

The British indie rock band christened their fourth studio collection “High as Hope” and will release it on June 29 via Virgin EMI Records (UK) and Republic Records (US).

Current promotional single “Hunger” – which was written by lead vocalist Florence Welch alongside Emile Haynie, Thomas Bartlett, and Tobias Jesso Jr. – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

The follow-up to 2015’s “How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful” boasts further songwriting contributions from Andrew Wyatt (“No Choir”), Sampha (“Grace”), Jamie XX (“Big God”) and Brett Shaw (“South London Forever”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Mendes is scheduled to release his third album – featuring previous promotional singles “In My Blood” and “Lost in Japan” – on May 24 via Universal Music Group / Island Records.

The self-titled collection yields additional productions and songwriting contributions from Julia Michaels, Ed Sheeran, Louis Bell, Frank Dukes, Amy Allen, John Mayer, Ryan Tedder, and Zach Skelton.

Raye releases new collaborative project “Side Tape”

British singer/songwriter Rachel Keen, known mononymously as Raye, has released a new collaborative project online.

“Side Tape” – featuring guest appearances from Steel Banglez, Kojo Funds, Ray BLK, Mr. Eazi, Maleek Berry, Nana Rogues, Avelino, Mabel McVey, and Stefflon Don – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

The follow-up 2016’s “Second” also boasts productions and songwriting contributions from Janee “Jin Jin” Bennett, Fraser T. Smith, Justin Tranter, Levi Lennox, Fred Gibson, Charlie Handsome, and Twice As Nice.

As a songwriter, Raye recently co-penned tracks for John Legend (“A Good Night”), Pretty Much (“On My Way”), Madison Beer (“Home with You”), Hailee Steinfeld (“Capital Letters”) and Little Mix (“If I Get My Way”).
