Mabel announces new single “Don’t Call Me Up”

Mabel has announced the details for her new single.

The Swedish singer/songwriter christened “Don’t Call Me Up” as the next promotional cut from her upcoming debut album under Polydor Records.

Scheduled to arrive on January 18 via all digital streaming outlets; “Don’t Call Me Up” was written by Mabel alongside Camille “Kamille” Purcell (Dua Lipa, Olly Murs) and Steven “Steve Mac” McCutcheon (Anne-Marie, Ed Sheeran).

Featuring previous single “One Shot” (which was co-written by Kelly Kiara and co-produced by JD. Reid), Mabel’s upcoming debut album reportedly delivers further contributions from TMS, Negin Djafari, Kid Harpoon, Amy Wadge, Electric, Lucy “Pawws” Taylor, Joel Compass, and Fraser T. Smith.

Mae Muller shares music video for new single “Busy Tone”

Mae Muller has shared the music video for her new single online.

The visual clip for “Busy Tone” was posted to the British singer/songwriter’s Vevo channel on Friday (December 14, 2018).

Production duties on “Busy Tone” were handled by regular collaborator Two Inch Punch, who is also responsible for Kali Uchis’s “Dead to Me,” Dan Caplen’s “Two Fingers,” Anne-Marie’s “Boy,” Jessie Ware’s “Say You Love Me,” Moko’s “With You,” Sam Smith’s “Money on My Mind,” and Ella Eyre’s “Deeper.”

Muller’s current project “Frankly” – featuring further productions and songwriting contributions from Oscar Scheller, Tom Aspaul, Ajay “Stint” Bhattacharyya, and Tony Esterly – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Ariana Grande releases new promotional single “Imagine”

Ariana Grande has released her new promotional single online.

“Imagine” – which was collectively produced by Andrew “Pop” Wansel and Nathan “Happy” Perez – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Grande alongside fellow recording artist Priscilla Renea, whose songwriting resume boasts additional works with Mariah Carey (“Caution”), Kelly Clarkson (“Love So Soft”), Fifth Harmony (“Worth It”), Rihanna (“California King Bed”) and Chris Brown (“Don’t Wake Me Up”).

Grande’s upcoming fifth studio collection and follow-up to “Sweetener” – featuring international hit single “Thank U, Next” – is scheduled to arrive next year via Universal Music Group / Republic Records.

Teyana Taylor premieres “Gonna Luv Me” Wu-Mix Video

Teyana Taylor has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The self-directed clip for “Gonna Love Me” – featuring Ghostface Killah, Method Man, and Raekwon – was posted to the American singer, songwriter, and actress’ YouTube channel on Friday (December 14, 2018).

The track was co-written by Taylor alongside Denisia “Blu June” Andrews and Brittany “Chi” Coney of Nova Wav, who are also responsible for Beyonce’s “Shining,” Tinashe’s “Ooh La La,” Kehlani’s “Crzy,” Britney Spears’s “Hard to Forget Ya,” and Kelly Clarkson’s “Whole Lotta Woman.”

Production duties on “Gonna Love Me” – taken from Taylor’s latest studio collection “K.T.S.E.” (which is an acronym for Keep That Same Energy) – were collectively handled by Kanye West (Alicia Keys, Janet Jackson), Mike Dean (Madonna, Sky Ferreira) and Noah Goldstein (Drake, Christina Aguilera).

Samantha Mumba – Woman

“Woman” is the shelved sophomore album by Irish singer/songwriter Samantha Mumba. It was supposed to be released in 2002 via Polydor Records following her UK top 10 single “I’m Right Here.” However, Mumba has since confirmed she was unable to release any new material due to contract restrictions following the restructure of Polydor, which resulted in her being dropped.

On the follow-up to 2000’s “Gotta Tell You,” Mumba has worked with producers Bloodshy & Avant (Madonna, Britney Spears), Arnthor Birggisson (Christina Milian, Leona Lewis), Anders Bagge (Robyn, Jessica Simpson), Stargate (Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez) and Mark Taylor (Enrique Iglesias, Kylie Minogue).

Among the songwriters she has collaborated with on the album are Kandi Burruss (TLC, Destiny’s Child), Nina Woodford (Alesha Dixon, Nelly Furtado), Karen Poole (David Guetta, Janet Jackson), Michelle Bell (Blu Cantrell, Mary J. Blige) and Paul Barry (LeAnn Rimes, James Bay).

British singer/songwriter Rita Ekwere, professionally known as Ray BLK, has teamed up with Janee “Jin Jin” Bennett and Fred Ball for a new collaboration.

Jin Jin’s songwriting resume boasts works with Jess Glynne (“Hold My Hand”), Tinie Tempah (“Not Letting Go”), Jax Jones (“You Don’t Know Me”), Yebba Smith (“Evergreen”), Raye (“Decline”) and Sabrina Carpenter (“Alien”).

Meanwhile, Ball’s songwriting and production credits include Mariah Carey’s “One Mo ‘Gen,” Jessie Reyez’s “Apple Juice,” Zara Larsson’s “One Mississippi,” Anne Marie’s “Some People,” Justine Skye’s “Heaven,” Toni Braxton’s “Deadwood,” and Rihanna’s “Love on the Brain.”

Mae Muller has confirmed the details for her upcoming debut project.

The British singer/songwriter christened her first mini-collection “Frankly” and will release it on December 7th via Universal Music Group / Polydor Records.

Current promotional single “Pull Up” – which was collectively produced by Benash and John Foyle – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Among the songwriters and producers backing Muller on the “Frankly E.P.” are Benjamin “Two Inch Punch” Ash (Sam Smith, Ella Eyre), Ajay “Stint” Bhattacharyya (Lennon Stella, Demi Lovato), Oscar Scheller (Dan Caplen, Mabel McVey) and Tom Aspaul (Celeste Waite, Tamera Foster).
