Alma delivers new promotional single “Phases”

Finnish singer and songwriter Alma-Sofia Miettinen, professionally known as Alma, has released her new promotional single online.

“Phases” – which was collectively produced by Charlie Handsome alongside Stylaz Fuego and Rex Kudo – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was also co-written by Charlotte “Charli XCX” Aitchison (Raye, Camila Cabello), Alexandra “Sasha Sloan” Yatchenko (Lecrae, Tori Kelly) and Jonnali “Noonie Bao” Parmenius (Katy Perry, Carly Rae Jepsen).

Alma’s upcoming debut studio collection – featuring previous single “Chasing Highs” – is expected to arrive later this year via PME Records in partnership with Polydor Records (UK) and Island Records (US).

The still-untitled collection reportedly boasts further songwriting contributions from Justin Tranter (Gwen Stefani), Chiara Hunter (Paloma Faith), Trey Campbell (Ella Henderson), Dayo Olatunji (Fifth Harmony), Jesse Saint John (Nick Jonas) and Asia Whiteacre (Hailee Steinfeld).

On the production front, Alma has worked with Axident (Justin Bieber), Patrik Berger (Robyn), Two Inch Punch (Ella Eyre), Fred Ball (Nina Nesbitt), Jussi “Jussifer” Illmari (Kelly Clarkson) and Big Taste (Maty Noyes).

Mabel hits the studio with Pawws, The Electric

British singer/songwriter Mabel McVey, known mononymously as Mabel, has teamed with Pawws and The Electric for a new collaboration.

Pawws (born Lucy Helene Taylor) has previously penned songs that were performed by Dua Lipa (“Be the One”), Etham (“Close Enough”), Liv Dawson (“I’ll Be Waiting), Danny L Harle (“Me4U”) and Annalisa (“Used to You”).

Meanwhile, The Electric (composed of Edvard Erfjord and Henrik Michelsen) are responsible for producing Little Mix’s “Shout Out to My Ex,” Fifth Harmony’s “Don’t Say You Love Me,” Machine Gun Kelly’s “At My Best,” Fleur East’s “Sax,” Olly Murs’s “Love You More,” and M.O’s “Not in Love.”

Mabel’s current mini-album “Bedroom” – featuring the Marlon Roudette-penned / John “JD” Reid-produced “Finders Keepers” – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

Her upcoming debut studio collection under Polydor Records reportedly boasts alliances with Tre Jean-Marie (Craig David), Negin Djafari (Louisa Johnson), MNEK (Zara Larsson), Raye (Anne-Marie), Arnthor Birgisson (Taya), Levi Lennox (FKA twigs), Grades (Ella Mai) and Joel Compass (Tinashe).

Troi Irons shares music video for new single “Call Me”

Troi Irons has shared the music video for her new single online.

The American singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “Call Me” to her Vevo channel on Wednesday (September 13, 2017).

Irons wrote “Call Me” alongside German record producer Christian “Crada” Kalla, whose resume boasts additional works with Clare Maguire (“Freedom”), Ella Eyre (“Make You Love Me”), Jordin Sparks (“Left … Right”), Bibi Bourelly (“What If”) and Emeli Sande (“Friend of a Friend”).

Irons’s debut mini-album “Turbulence” – featuring additional productions from XSDTRK, Devrim Karaoglu, Sandy Chila, Ryan Marrone, and Neff-U – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

Emeli Sande teams with Illangelo for new single “Starlight”

Emeli Sande has released her new promotional single online.

“Starlight” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Production duties on “Starlight” were handled by Illangelo (born Carlo Montagnese), whose other credits include Alicia Keys’s “In Common,” Majid Jordan’s “My Love,” The Weeknd’s “Tell Your Friends,” Katy Perry’s “Pendulum,” Romeo Santos’s “Sin Filtro,” and Tinashe’s “Party Favors.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Sande’s upcoming mini-album is scheduled to arrive later this year via Universal Music Group / Virgin EMI Records.

The still-untitled project follows 2016’s “Long Live the Angels,” which peaked to number two on the UK Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Hurts,” “Breathing Underwater,” and “Highs & Lows.”

Nick Jonas has unveiled the music video for his new single online.

The American singer, songwriter, and actor posted the Emil Nava-directed clip for “Find You” to his Vevo channel on Sunday (September 17, 2017).

Co-written by Simon Wilcox alongside Jakob Hazell and Svante Halldin of Jack & Cocke; “Find You” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Jonas’s upcoming fourth album – featuring the Mike Posner and Anne-Marie-assisted lead single “Remember I Told You” – is expected to arrive later this year via Safehouse Records and Island Records.

The Popcaan-assisted track – which was collectively produced by Levi Lennox alongside James Grant and Darius Ellington of Ill Blu – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.
