Usher reunites with Ryan Toby for new collaboration

American singer/songwriter Usher Raymond, known professionally as Usher, has reunited with fellow recording artist Ryan Toby for a new collaboration.

Toby previously co-wrote Usher’s “Caught Up,” “Superstar,” “Follow Me,” (produced by Dre & Vidal), “What’s Your Name” (produced by will.i.am), “Revolver” (produced by Prettiboifresh), “Tell Me” (produced by Geniuz League & Tre Drumz), taken from the albums “Confessions” (2004), “Here I Stand” (2008) and “Hard II Love” (2016),  respectively.

Toby’s songwriting resume boasts additional works with Claudette Ortiz (“Handcuffs”), Amerie (“Just Like Me”), Will Smith (“Miami”), Mary J. Blige (“Can’t Hide from Love”), Ginuwine (“Glaze in My Eye”), Jill Scott (“The Real Thing”), Chris Brown (“Hold Up”), Pia Mia (“We Should Be Together”), Justin Bieber (“All Bad”) and Fifth Harmony (“Sauced Up”).

Meanwhile, Usher is expected to release his upcoming ninth album and follow-up to 2016’s “Hard II Love” later this year via RCA Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers additional songwriting contributions and productions from  Jermaine Dupri, Bryan Michael Cox, Sean Garrett, Danja, Rico Love, Sebastian Kole, Verse Simmonds, Akil King, Stacy Barthe, Ghoss, Harmony Samuels, Uforo Ebong, Mike Sabath, and Sons of Sonix.

Usher has teamed up with fellow recording artist Stacy Barthe for a new collaboration.

Barthe’s songwriting resume boasts works with Alicia Keys (“Limitedless”), Teyana Taylor (“Outta My League”), Marsha Ambrosius (“So Good”), Bridget Kelly (“Carry My Cross”), Melanie Fiona (“Like I Love You”), Lauriana Mae (“Marvelous”) and Ciara (“Flaws and All”).

Her debut album “Becoming” – featuring productions from Malay, Benny Cassette, and Darhyl “DJ” Camper – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Meanwhile, Usher is expected to release his upcoming ninth album and follow-up to 2016’s “Hard II Love” later this year via RCA Records.

Usher enlists Mike Sabath for new collaboration

Usher has enlisted Mike Sabath for a new collaboration.

“@usher broooo. Beyond grateful to be able to work alongside the people who inspired me to do this in the first place. So excited for the world to hear what we got coooookin,” the American record producer and songwriter posted to Instagram on Tuesday (January 15, 2019).

Sabath’s songwriting and production resume boasts works with Liam Payne (“Familiar”), Sabrina Carpenter (“Hold Tight”), Little Mix (“Wasabi”), Madison Beer (“Hurts Like Hell”) and Jordan Fisher (“Mess”).

Sabath has also collaborated with fellow musicians including Rodney Jerkins, Fransisca Hall, Bianca “Blush” Atterberry, Brett “Leland” McLaughlin, Olivia Waithe, Michael Pollack, Kate Pearlman, Sean Douglas, Gamal “LunchMoney” Lewis, Patrick “J. Que” Smith, and Dewain Whitmore Jr.

Meanwhile, Usher’s latest project “A” – which was entirely produced by Xavier “Zaytoven” Dotson – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Usher has enlisted Harmony “H-Money” Samuels for a new collaboration.

The British record producer and songwriter is known for helming Janet Jackson’s “Made for Now,” Tamar Braxton’s “Let Me Know,” Ciara’s “I Bet,” Ariana Grande’s “The Way,” Michelle Williams’ “Say Yes,” Keyshia Cole’s “Enough of No Love,” and Jennifer Hudson’s “Think Like a Man.”

Samuels’ resume boasts additional works with Ella Mai (“Cheapshot”), Teyana Taylor (“Put Your Love On”), Janelle Monae (“Without a Fight”), Mary J. Blige (“Irreversible”), Sevyn Streeter (“I Like It”), Fantasia Barrino (“Lose to Win”), Brandy (“Without You”) and Kelly Rowland (“Put Your Name On It”).

American singer/songwriter Usher Raymond IV, known mononymously as Usher, has enlisted Sebastian Kole for a new collaboration.

Born Coleridge Tillman; Kole is responsible for co-writing Alessia Cara’s “Scars to Your Beautiful,” Jennifer Lopez’s “Goin’ In,” Stanaj’s “Ain’t Love Stranger,” Fifth Harmony’s “Bridges,” Ledisi’s “Hello,” and Kara Marni’s “Golden.”

Distributed through Universal Music Group / Motown Records; Kole’s debut studio collection “Soup” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The pair previously teamed up on “Appetite,” “So Many Girls,” “I Care for You” and “Show Me,” taken from the albums “Here I Stand” (2008), “Raymond v. Raymond” (2010) and “Looking for Myself” (2012), respectively.

The American record producer and songwriter – real name Nathaniel Hills – has also produced songs for Keyshia Cole (“Incapable”), DJ Khaled (“Shining”), Mariah Carey (“Migrate”), Tank (“This is How I Feel”), Brandy (“Can You Hear Me Now?”), Chris Brown (“Discover”), Keri Hilson (“Knock You Down”), Jason Derulo (“X2CU”) and K. Michelle (“If it Ain’t Love”).

Usher confirms details for new album “Hard II Love”

Usher has confirmed the details for his upcoming album.

The singer, songwriter, and actor christened his eighth studio collection “Hard II Love” and will release it on September 16 via RCA Records.

Amongst the tracks slotted for inclusion on the follow-up to 2012’s “Looking for Myself” are “Crash,” “No Limit,” “Missin U” and “Champions.”

Brandon “B.A.M.” Hodge, Rock City, WondaGurl, and Carlos St. John are amongst the confirmed collaborators on “Hard II Love.”

The keenly-awaited project reportedly delivers additional alliances with Paul Epworth, Johnta Austin, Dapo Tormiro, Bryan Michael Cox, Priscilla Renea, Jermaine Dupri, Labrinth, Polow Da Don, and Knox Brown.
