Jacob Banks confirms details for new album “Village”

Jacob Banks has confirmed the details for his upcoming debut album.

The British singer/songwriter christened his first studio collection “Village” and will release it on November 2nd via Interscope Records.

Co-written with Laleh Pourkarim and Pierre-Luc “PL” Riux and produced by Yonatan “XSDTRK” Ayal, current promotional single “Be Good to Me” – featuring Seinabo Sey – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

On the highly-anticipated album, Banks has also collaborated with Stargate, Bibi Bourelly, Stint, Zane Lowe, JP Saxe, Utters, John Newman, Sam Romans, Hue Strother, Charlie Handsome, Two Inch Punch, and Benny Cassette.

Mullally drafts Mojam Music for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Connor Mullally-Knight, known mononymously as Mullally, has enlisted Mojam Music for a new collaboration.

Composed of Mustafa Omer and James Murray, the songwriting and production duo are responsible for Emeli Sande’s “Hurts,” Plan B’s “In the Name of Man,” Sinead Harnett’s “Do it Anyway,” Conor Maynard’s “Talking About,” Naughty Boy’s “Should’ve Been Me,” and James Arthur’s “Get Down.”

Mojam have also contributed to the next projects by WENS, Tori Kelly, Ben Platt, Kah-Lo, Rozzi Crane, Nstasia, Ella Henderson, Kranium, Bobii Lewis, Elderbrook, Christian Leave, Bugzy Malone, Mack Wilds, and L Devine.

Meanwhile, Mullally’s upcoming project – featuring further contributions from Jason Evigan, Courage, Jay Mooncie, Phil Cook, Danny Parker, Ed Thomas, Utters, Cook Classics, H-Money, Rodney Jerkins, Grades, Jordan Riley, and Robopop – is scheduled to arrive later this year via Atlantic Records UK.

His current single “Sweet Coffee” – which was co-written by Grace Barker and produced by Ari PenSmith and P2J – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Mullally hits the studio with Utters, Ed Thomas for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Connor Mullally-Knight, known mononymously as Mullally, has enlisted Ed Thomas and Utters for a new collaboration.

Thomas is responsible for co-writing Jorja Smith’s “On My Mind,” Louis Mattrs’ “Pink Lemonade,” Kiah Victoria’s “Cold War,” Zac Abel’s “Everybody Needs Love,” Aquilo’s “Thin,” and Maverick Sabre’s “Falling Again.”

Meanwhile, Utters’ production resume boasts works with AlunaGeorge (“Last Kiss”), Chronixx (“I Know Love”), Raleigh Ritchie (“In Too Deep”), All Saints (“One Woman Man”), Foxes (“Beauty Queen”), Ella Eyre (“Home”), Selah Sue (“Feel”) and Purple Ferdinand (“Through Your Eyes”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Mullally’s upcoming project – featuring current promotional single “She Don’t Know Me” – is expected to arrive early next year via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records UK.

The still-untitled collection reportedly yields additional productions from Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, Two Inch Punch, Harmony “H-Money” Samuels, ADP, Jordan Riley, Cook Classics, Scott Hoffman, Robopop, Will Simms, MNEK, Jonny Coffer, Grades, Scribz Riley, and Cool & Dre.

On the songwriting front, Mullally has also worked with Amy Wadge, Jason Boyd, Danny Parker, Grace Tither, Ali Tennant, Max McElligott, Ari PenSmith, Danny Shah, Jordan Thomas, Levi Lennox, and Clarence Coffee Jr.

Sarah Close teams up with Martin Sjolie for new collaboration

Sarah Close has teamed up with Martin Sjolie for a new collaboration.

The Norwegian pianist, songwriter and record producer has previously helmed songs for Maria Mena (“Where I Come From”), Sigrid (“Don’t Kill My Vibe”), Charlotte OC (“In Paris”), Janice (“Secrets”), Rachel Stevens (“Funky Dory”) and Nathan Sykes (“Good Things Come to Those Who Wait”).

Sjolie’s extensive resume boasts additional works with fellow songwriters and record producers including Caroline Ailin, Daniel “GRADES” Traynor, Emma Rohan, Iain James, Rachel “Maiday” Moulden, Tom Aspaul, Lindy Robbins, James “JHart” Abrahart, Tayla Parx, and Paddy Dalton.

Meanwhile, Close is expected to release her next project later this year via Warner Music Group / Parlophone Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly boasts further contributions from Mac & Phil (Phoebe Ryan), Noel Zancanella (Tori Kelly), Utters (Sinead Harnett), Philip Plested (Leona Lewis), Max McElligott (Kiah Victoria), STINT (Demi Lovato), Jordan Riley (Nina Nesbitt) and Red Triangle (Alice Chater).

AlunaGeorge release new promotional singles “Turn Up the Love” and “Last Kiss”

British electronic music duo AlunaGeorge – composed of Aluna Francis and George Reid – has released two promotional singles online.

“Turn Up the Love” and “Last Kiss” are now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Both tracks were produced by George Reid and mixed by Daniel “Utters” Radclyffe, whose resume boasts further works with All Saints (“One Woman Man”), Maverick Sabre (“I Need”), Chronixx (“I Know Love”), Raleigh Ritchie (“In Too Deep”), Foxes (“Beauty Queen”), Ella Eyre (“Home”), Selah Sue (“Feel”) and Purple Ferdinand (“Through Your Eyes”).

AlunaGeorge’s upcoming third album, on the other hand, is expected to arrive later this year via Island Records (UK) and Interscope Records (US).

The still-untitled collection follows 2016’s “I Remember,” which delivered contributions from Sam Romans (“I’m in Control”), Charli XCX (“Jealous”), Tom Aspaul (“Mediator”), Cathy Dennis (“Heartbreak Horizon”), Kid Harpoon (“Wanderlust”) and MNDR (“Mean What I Mean”).

Sinead Harnett has confirmed the details for her upcoming debut mixtape.

The British singer/songwriter christened her next project “Chapter One” and will release it on June 1st via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Current promotional single “Still Miss You” was produced by Daniel Traynor, professionally known as GRADES, who previously teamed up with Harnett on “If You Let Me,” as well as other artists including Nao (“Bad Blood”), Khalid (“Winter”), Tove Lo (“Lies in the Dark”) and WENS (“Bleed”).

The highly-anticipated collection reportedly delivers additional alliances with Fred Ball (Rihanna, Jessie Ware), Utters (AlunaGeorge, Purple Ferdinand), Marlon Roudette (Mabel, Liam Payne), Crada (Drake, Emeli Sande), Felix Joseph (Ray BLK, Abi Ocia) and Ed Thomas (Kiah Victoria, Jorja Smith).

Sinead Harnett reunites with GRADES for new single “Still Miss You”

Sinead Harnett has confirmed the details for her new single.

The British singer/songwriter christened “Still Miss You” as the first promotional cut from her upcoming project and will release it on May 26 via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

Production duties on “Still Miss You” were handled by GRADES, who previously teamed up with Harnett on “If You Let Me.”

Other notable credits by the electronic dance music record producer, born Daniel Traynor, include Tinie Tempah’s “Text from Your Ex,” Khalid’s “Winter,” Tove Lo’s “Lies in the Dark,” WENS’ “Bleed,” Tom Aspaul’s “Never Complaining,” Aanysa’s “Burn Break Crash,” and Fantasia’s “Wait for You.”

Meanwhile, Harnett is expected to release her next collection – featuring further alliances with Daniel “Utters” Radclyffe, Marlon Roudette, Christian “Crada” Kalla, Ed Thomas, and Rollo Armstrong – later this year.
