Becky Hill confirms new promotional single details

Becky Hill has confirmed the details for her new single.

The British singer/songwriter (born Rebecca Claire Hill) has christened “Unpredictable” as the next promotional cut from her upcoming debut album and will release it on August 9 via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Becky Hill alongside regular collaborators Karen Poole (Taya, David Guetta) and MNEK (Beyonce, Kylie Minogue).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Hill’s still-untitled debut studio collection – featuring previous promotional singles “Back to My Love,” “Warm,” and “Rude Love” – is expected to arrive later this year via EKO Music.

On the songwriting front, the “False Alarm” star has reportedly contributed to the next projects by fellow recording artists including Ella Eyre, Terri Walker, Chloe Leone, Imani Williams, DAKOTA, and Professor Green.

Charli XCX confirms new single details

Charli XCX has confirmed the details for her new single.

The British singer/songwriter (born Charlotte Aitchison) christened “Boys” as the next promotional cut from her upcoming third album and will release it on July 26 via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

The track was co-written by Emily Warren (Dua Lipa), Ingrid Andress (Brooke Eden), Cass Lowe (Sam Smith), Michael Pollack (Conor Maynard), Ari “Lauv” Leff (Demi Lovato) and Jerker Hansson (Zara Larsson).

As mentioned in earlier posts, XCX’s next studio collection – featuring previous single “After the Afterparty” – is expected to arrive later this year via Asylum Records (UK) and Atlantic Records (US).

The follow-up to 2014’s “Sucker” reportedly boasts further productions and songwriting contributions from Patrik Berger (Lana Del Rey), Noonie Bao (Katy Perry), A.G. Cook (Hannah Diamond), Sasha Sloan (Anne-Marie), MNEK (Kylie Minogue), Ester Dean (Trey Songz) and SOPHIE (Madonna).

Fans of XCX’s songwriting works, on the other hand, should keep an eye on the next releases by ALMA [PME/Polydor], Carly Rae Jepsen [School Boy/Interscope], Kitten [Independent], Selena Gomez [Interscope], David Guetta [Parlophone/Atlantic] and Camila Cabello [Syco/Epic].

Ray BLK connects with RAYE for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Rita Ekwere, professionally known as Ray BLK, has teamed up with fellow recording artist RAYE for a new collaboration.

Born Rachel Keen, the “You Don’t Know Me” star previously co-penned songs for Charli XCX (“After the Afterparty”), Tara Carosielli (“Money”), Matoma (“The Wave”), Blonde (“Just for One Night”), M.O (“Not in Love”), 5 After Midnight (“Up in Here”) and Snakehips (“Don’t Leave”).

In addition to working on her upcoming project under Polydor Records, RAYE has also contributed to the next releases by Jess Glynne [Atlantic], Rihanna [Roc Nation], Little Mix [Syco Music], Rita Ora [Atlantic], Mabel McVey [Polydor], Era Istrefi [Ultra Music], Rudimental [Atlantic], Anne-Marie [Asylum], Naughty Boy [Virgin EMI] and Ellie Goulding [Polydor].

Meanwhile, BLK’s upcoming project – featuring current promotional single “Doing Me” – is scheduled to arrive later this year via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Mabel records new material with Dan Caplen, Jordan Riley

British singer/songwriter Mabel has recorded new music with Dan Caplen and Jordan Riley. It is yet to be known, however, whether the session was intended for a future Caplen release or McVey’s upcoming debut album.

Caplen’s current promotional single “Flat Champagne,” which features guest vocals from Ray BLK, is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

In addition to “Flat Champagne,” Riley co-wrote and produced several songs that are slotted for inclusion on Caplen’s next project under Atlantic Records UK including “Got a lot to Learn,” “Hoops,” “Hymn for Life,” “Prove,” “Take Them Blows” and “We Ain’t Hiding Nothing.”

Mabel’s debut album, on the other hand, is expected to arrive later this year via Universal Music Group / Polydor Records.

Mullally enlists Amy Wadge for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Connor Mullally-Knight, professionally known as Mullally, has enlisted the songwriting services of Amy Wadge for his upcoming debut project under Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records UK.

Wadge recently co-wrote “Galway Girl,” “Save Myself,” “Nancy Mulligan” and “Barcelona,” taken from Ed Sheeran’s chart topping album, “Divide.”

Her extensive resume boasts further credits with Jasmine Thompson (“Let Myself Try”), Molly Kate Kestner (“I Don’t Know”), Geri Halliwell (“If You Love Someone”), Dua Lipa (“Down Boys”), Una Healy (“Stay My Love”), Jamie Lawson (“Don’t Let Me Let You Go”), Frances (“Those Who Wait”), Gabrielle Aplin (“You Don’t Live Here Anymore”) and James Blunt (“Paradise”).

Antigoni Buxton has drafted Karen Harding for a new collaboration.

The British singer/songwriter is known for her singles “Open My Eyes,” which was co-written by Sophie “Frances” Cooke,” and “Say Something,” which was produced by Uzoechi “MNEK” Emenike.

Harding’s songwriting resume, on the other hand, boasts works with Alex Newell (“Shame”), Craig David (“Unbreakable”) and The Magician (“Together”).

She has also provided guest vocals for Giorgio Moroder (“Good for Me”), Wilkinson (“Sweet Lies”), Anton Powers (“Love You Better”), Jerome Price (“Nobody”), Arches (“New Love”), This Diamond Life (“The Weekend”), Blonde (“Feel Good”) and Tough Love (“Like I Can”).

Meanwhile, Buxton’s first project is expected to arrive later this year via Universal Music Group / Island Records.
