Yuna confirms details for new album “Rouge”

Yuna has confirmed the details for her upcoming album.

The Malaysian singer/songwriter (real name Yunalis Zarai) christened her fourth international studio collection “Rouge” and will release it on July 12 via Universal Music Group / Verve Forecast Records.

Current promotional single “Blank Marquee” – featuring G-Eazy – is now available iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

The highly-anticipated project also boasts productions and songwriting contributions from Robin Hannibal, Chloe Angelides, Big Taste, Shungudzo, Jamie Hartman, Fiona Bevan, and Michelle Buzz.

Ledisi ropes in Angela Hunte for new album

Ledisi has recorded new material with Angela Hunte for her upcoming seventh album, out soon via Universal Music Group / Verve Forecast Records.

The hit musician is known for collaborating with artists including Britney Spears [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records], Melanie Fiona [Universal Music Group / Republic Records], Alicia Keys [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records] and Livvi Franc [Warner Music Group / Beluga Heights Records].

Hunte also confirmed songwriting placements on the next projects by Snoop Lion [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records], Mutya Keisha Siobhan [Universal Music Group / Polydor Records], Miguel [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records], Sabi [Warner Music Group / Kemosabe Records] and Neon Hitch [Warner Music Group / Reprise Records].

Meanwhile, the new collection by Ledisi – which serves as the follow-up to 2011’s “Pieces of Me” – is expected to generate further collaborations with Carvin “Ransum” Haggins (Tamia, Jazmine Sullivan), Ivan “Orthodox” Barias (Estelle, Faith Evans), Andrew “Pop” Wansel (Usher, Chris Brown), Claude Kelly (Brandy, Alexandra Burke), Jerry “Wonda” Duplessis (Ashanti, Bridgit Kelly) and Arden “Keys” Altino (Justin Bieber, Mary J. Blige).

Ledisi reunites with Carvin Haggins, Ivan Barias for new album

Singer/songwriter Ledisi has reunited with Carvin “Ransum” Haggins and Ivan “Orthodox” Barias for her upcoming seventh album, due later this year via Universal Music Group / Verve Forecast Records.

The songwriting and production duo have previously teamed up with the artist on the tracks “I Gotta Get to You,” “Alone” and “I Need Love.”

Additional credits by Carvin Haggins and Ivan Barias include “The Life” by Estelle Swaray [Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records], “Belongs to You” by Q Parker [Malaco Music Group / Malaco Records] and “Still Love You” by Tamia [EMI Music Group / Entertainment One Music Group].

Meanwhile, the new collection by Ledisi serves as the follow-up to 2011’s “Pieces of Me.” That release debuted at number eight on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart. The title track (and US Top 20 R&B hit), “Pieces of Me,” earned two nominations for Best R&B Song and Best R&B Performance, while the album itself received a nomination for Best R&B Album.
