Katharine McPhee shares “Only One” acoustic performance

Katharine McPhee has shared a new performance video online.

The actress, singer, and songwriter posted an exclusive acoustic performance clip for “Only One” to her Vevo channel on Friday (October 09, 2015).

“Only One” was written by McPhee along with Kelly “Madame Buttons” Sheehan (Rita Ora, Jason Derulo) and Chris Loco (Emeli Sande, Leona Lewis).

McPhee’s latest studio album “Hysteria” – featuring previous promotional cuts “Lick My Lips” and “Stranger Than Fiction” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Entertainment One Music.

The collection boasts further contributions from Chris Braide (Beyonce), Sia (Rihanna), Ryan Tedder (Adele), Isa Machine (Ella Henderson), Rob Wells (Selena Gomez) and Ginny Blackmore (Christina Aguilera).

Ginny Blackmore teams with Al Shux for new single “Under My Feet”

Ginny Blackmore has announced the details for her new single.

The New Zealand singer/songwriter christened “Under My Feet” as the next promotional cut from her upcoming debut album “Over the Moon.”

“Under My Feet” was written by Blackmore along with Al Shux, who’s also behind Lianne La Havas’ “What You Don’t Do” [Nonesuch], Kwabs’ “Saved” [Atlantic] and Ella Henderson’s “Mirror Man” [Syco Music].

The track will also be available for download from October 9 through iTunes in partnership with Sony Music Entertainment.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Blackmore has penned songs for Christina Aguilera (“Sing My Song”), Nicole Scherzinger (“Get ‘Em Ready for It”), Adam Lambert (“By The Rules”) and Katharine McPhee (“Love Strikes”).

Her first studio collection “Over the Moon” boasts further alliances with Aeon “Step” Manahan (Alexandra Burke, Stan Walker), Alan Nglish (Taio Cruz, CeeLo Green) and Rob Wells (Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber).

Katharine McPhee has released a new song online.

The actress, singer, and songwriter posted the audio clip for “Love Strikes” to her Vevo channel on Friday (August 28, 2015).

“Love Strikes” – now available for download via iTunes – was co-written by McPhee along with Virginia “Ginny” Blackmore (Nicole Scherzinger, Pixie Lott) and the song’s producer Rob Wells (Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez).

McPhee’s upcoming studio collection “Hysteria” – featuring previous singles “Lick My Lips” and “Stranger Than Fiction” – is slated to hit stores and digital outlets on September 18 through Entertainment One Music.

Ginny Blackmore has unveiled a new song online.

“Put Ya Name on It” is slotted for inclusion on the singer/songwriter’s upcoming as-yet-untitled debut album with Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records.

The track was produced by Christopher “Tricky” Stewart, whose credits include “Touch My Body” by Mariah Carey [Universal Music Group / Island Def Jam Recordings] and “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)” by Beyonce Knowles [Sony Music Entertainment / Columbia Records].

As a songwriter, Virginia “Ginny” Blackmore has penned hits for several artists including Christina Aguilera [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records], Nicole Scherzinger [Universal Music Group / Interscope Records] and Adam Lambert [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records].

“Bones” is slotted for inclusion on the singer/songwriter’s upcoming debut album, which will be released soon via Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records.

Christina Aguilera unveils official songwriting credits for new album ‘Lotus’

Christina Aguilera has unveiled the official songwriting credits for her upcoming seventh album, “Lotus,” which is due in the United States on November 13 via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

Lead single “Your Body” was written by Tiffany Amber, Savan Kotecha, Martin Sandberg and Karl Johan Schuster. Production credits were handled by Max Martin and Shellback.

“Lotus” serves as the follow-up to 2010’s “Bionic.” That release debuted at number three on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart. It also delivered two hit singles in the shape of “Not Myself Tonight” and “You Lost Me.”

In addition to Max Martin and Shellback, the new collection by Christina Aguilera will boast further productions from Alexander “Alex Da Kid” Grant (Nicki Minaj, Cheryl Cole), Dwayne “Dem Jointz” Abernathy (Brandy Norwood, Chris Brown), Jamie Hartman (Natalie Imbruglia, Jason Mraz), Lucas Secon (Conor Maynard, Olly Murs), Fraser T.
