Meghan Trainor enlists Jacob Kasher, Wallpaper for new single “NO”

Meghan Trainor has selected the first single from her upcoming album.

The singer-songwriter christened “NO” as the first promotional cut from her second major-label album, “Thank You.”

Trainor co-wrote “NO” with Jacob Kasher Hindlin, whose recent credits include One Direction’s “Perfect” [Syco], Becky G’s “Break a Sweat” [Kemosabe], and Charlie Puth’s “We Don’t Talk Anymore” f/ Selena Gomez [Warner Bros].

Production duties were handled by Ricky Reed of Wallpaper, who is also responsible for Jason Derulo’s “Get Ugly” [Warner Bros], Icona Pop’s “Emergency” [Big Beat], and Jessie J’s “Burnin’ Up” [Republic].

As mentioned in earlier posts, Trainor’s next studio collection “Thank You” is scheduled for release later this year through Epic Records.

Other album contributors include Ross Golan (Michael Buble), Johan Carlsson (Harry Styles), The Rascals (Zendaya), Babyface (Mariah Carey), Taylor Parks (Ariana Grande), and LunchMoney Lewis (Fifth Harmony).

Singer/songwriter Meghan Trainor has collaborated with Wallpaper and Jacob Kasher on new music.

Notable production credits by Wallpaper – real name Eric Frederic – include Jason Derulo’s “Get Ugly” [Warner Bros], Icona Pop’s “Emergency” [Big Beat], Mary Lambert’s “Secrets” [Capitol] and Fifth Harmony’s “Bo$$” [Epic].

Meanwhile, Kasher’s songwriting resume includes works with Carly Rae Jepsen (“I Really Like You”), Nicki Minaj (“Get On Your Knees”), One Direction (“Perfect”), Ciara (“Give Me Love”) and Selena Gomez (“Sober”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Trainor is scheduled to release the follow-up to 2015’s “Title” next year through Epic Records.

The still-untitled LP delivers alliances with Babyface (Madonna), Taylor Parks (Zendaya), The Elev3n (Karmin), Lunchmoney Lewis (Jessie J), The Rascals (Ariana Grande) and The Monsters & the Strangerz (Nick Jonas).

CeeLo Green teams up with Mark Ronson for new single “Mother May I”

CeeLo Green has released a new song online.

The singer, songwriter, and record producer posted the audio clip for “Mother May I” to his YouTube channel on Friday (October 23, 2015).

Production duties on “Mother May I” were handled by Mark Ronson, who also worked with Amy Winehouse (“Rehab”), Christina Aguilera (“Slow Down Baby”), Adele (“Cold Shoulder”) and Elle King (“Last Damn Night”).

His latest studio collection “Uptown Special” – featuring singles “Uptown Funk” w/ Bruno Mars and “I Can’t Lose” w/ Keyone Starr – is now available for download via iTunes in conjunction with Columbia Records.

Meanwhile, Green – real name Thomas Callaway – will release his next album “Heart Blanche” on November 13 through Atlantic Records.

The highly-anticipated LP includes additional contributions from Francis “Eg” White (Sam Smith), John Hill (Mayer Hawthorne), Charlie Puth (Trey Songz), Jon Bellion (Jason Derulo) and Ricky “Wallpaper” Reed (Erik Hassle).

CeeLo Green has unwrapped the tracklisting for his upcoming album.

“Heart Blanche” is scheduled to hit stores and digital outlets on November 13 through Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

Current single “Music to My Soul” – now available for download via iTunes – was co-written by Geoffro Cause (David Guetta) and produced by Cook Classics (Lil Wayne), The Futuristics (Hailee Steinfeld) and Tommy Hittz (Chris Brown).

The follow-up to 2010’s “The Lady Killer” boasts further contributions from Charlie Puth (Thomas Rhett), Jon Bellion (Zedd), Wallpaper (Jessie J), Mark Ronson (Bruno Mars), John Hill (Rihanna) and Eg White (Sam Smith).

The singer, songwriter and record producer is scheduled to release “Heart Blanche” on November 13 through Atlantic Records.

The keenly-awaited studio collection features previous promotional cuts “Music to My Soul,” “Robin Williams” and “Sign of the Times.”

It also boasts collaborations with Jon Bellion (Eminem), Charlie Puth (Fergie), John Hill (Shakira), Wallpaper (Jason Derulo), Cook Classics (Natalie La Rose), Jacob Luttrell (Timbaland), Mark Ronson (Adele) and Eg White (Kwabs).

CeeLo Green has debuted his new single online.

The singer, songwriter, and record producer posted the audio clip for “Sign of the Times” to his official YouTube channel on Thursday (August 27, 2015).

“Sign of the Times” was co-written by fellow recording artist Jacob Luttrell, whose other credits include Jennifer Hudson’s “Walk it Out” [RCA], Justin Bieber’s “Fall” [Island] and Jason Derulo’s “Breathing” [Warner Bros].

Production duties were handled by Green along with Cook Classics, whose resume includes further works with Jamie Foxx (“Baby’s in Love”), Lil Wayne (“Nothing But Trouble”) and Natalie La Rose (“Somebody”).
