Ciara reunites with Rodney Jerkins for new single “Dose”

Ciara has confirmed the details for her new single.

The American singer/songwriter christened “Dose” as her next promotional cut and will release it on September 14 via all digital streaming outlets.

The track was written by Carmen Reece and Sam Fischer alongside producer Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, who previously teamed up with Ciara on “Can’t Leave Him Alone,” “Making it Last Forever,” the Kalenna Harper-assisted “Pucker Up,” and Livvi Franc-penned “Read My Lips.”

Ciara’s upcoming seventh album and follow-up to 2015’s “Jackie” – featuring the Jonathan “J.R.” Rotem-produced lead singles “Level Up” and “Freak Me” – is expected to arrive later this year via Warner Brothers Records.

Dua Lipa confirms details for debut album super deluxe edition

Dua Lipa has confirmed the details for her upcoming project.

The British singer/songwriter will release the super deluxe edition of her self-titled debut album on October 19 via Warner Brothers Records.

The new collection features three new songs in the shape of “Running” (co-written with Andrew Jackson and Andrew Wyatt), “Want To” (co-written with Andrew Jackson and Amish “ADP” Patel) and “Kiss and Make Up” (co-written with Chelcee Grimes and Mathieu “Billboard” Jomphe alongside Yannick Rastogi and Zacharie Raymond of Banx n Ranx).

Meanwhile, the original edition of Dua Lipa’s debut album peaked to number three on the UK Albums Chart and spawned several singles including “New Love,” “Be the One,” “New Rules,” “Hotter Than Hell,” and “IDGAF.”

For her upcoming sophomore album, Dua Lipa has reportedly worked with Max Martin, Savan Kotecha, Ilya Salmanzadeh, Lindy Robbins, King Henry, Emily Warren, Sarah Hudson, Justin Tranter, Caroline Ailin, Sasha Sloan, Ilsey Juber, Stephen “Koz” Kozmeniuk, MNEK, Sarah Aarons, and Grades.

Ciara releases new promotional single “Freak Me”

Ciara has released her promotional single online.

“Freak Me” – featuring Tekno – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Theron Thomas of R. City alongside Nigerian singer/songwriter Tiwa Savage, whose other songwriting credits include Fantasia Barrino’s “Supernatural Love,” Monica’s “Catch Me,” Chrisette Michele’s “A Couple of Forevers,” and Miranda Brooke’s “Hater.”

Production duties on “Freak Me” were handled by Jonathan “J.R.” Rotem, who previously teamed up with Ciara on “Level Up” and helmed other cuts for Usher (“Will Work for Love”), Rihanna (“Push Up on Me”), Nicki minaj (“Marilyn Monroe”) and Gwen Stefani (“Used to Love You”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Ciara’s upcoming seventh studio collection and follow-up to 2015’s “Jackie” is expected to arrive later this year via Warner Bros. Records in partnership with Beauty Marks Entertainment.

Bebe Rexha delivers new promotional single “I’m a Mess”

Bebe Rexha has delivered her new promotional single online.

“I’m a Mess” – which samples Meredith Brooks’ 1997 single “Bitch” – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

The track was co-written by Justin Tranter, whose recent credits include Christina Aguilera’s “Right Moves,” 5 Seconds of Summer’s “Valentine,” Julia Michaels’ “Jump,” Shea Diamond’s “Keisha Complexion,” Cardi B’s “Thru Your Phone,” and Janelle Monae’s “Make Me Feel.”

Production duties on “I’m a Mess” were handled by Jussi “Jussifer” Karvinen, who has also worked with Kelly Clarkson (“Whole Lotta Woman”), Skylar Stecker (“How Did We”), Jojo (“FAB”), Superfruit (“Future Friends”), HMLTD (“Pictures of You”) and New Kids on the Block (“One More Night”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Rexha’s upcoming debut album “Expectations” – featuring previous singles “Ferrari,” “2 Souls on Fire,” “Meant to Be” and “I Got You” – is scheduled to arrive on June 22 via Warner Bros. Records.

Rexha co-wrote “Ferrari” alongside Asia Whiteacre and Jason Evigan, while “2 Souls on Fire” was co-written alongside Lauren Christy, Jussi “Jussifer” Karvinen and Aaron Zuckerman.

Among the tracks slotted for inclusion on “Expectations” are “Ferrari,” “I’m a Mess,” “2 Souls on Fire,” “Shinning Star,” “Knees,” “Self Control,” “Mine,” “Spirit,” “Sad,” “Don’t Waste My Time,” “Matches” and “Pillow.”

The highly-anticipated Warner Bros. project also boasts contributions from The Stereotypes, Lauren Christy, Jason Evigan, Asia Whiteacre, Jussifer, David Garcia, Justin Tranter, Kamille, Talay Riley, and Josh Miller.

Bebe Rexha hits the studio with Justin Tranter for new collection

American singer/songwriter Bebe Rexha has teamed up with Warner/Chappell signee Justin Tranter for a new collaboration.

Tranter recently co-wrote “Make Me Feel” for Bad Boy recording artist Janelle Monae alongside Julia Michaels and Swedish production duo Mattias Larsson and Robin Fredriksson of Mattman & Robin.

Tranter’s songwriting credits also include Camila Cabello’s “Into It,” Nick Jonas’ “Home,” Gwen Stefani’s “My Gift is You,” Britney Spears’ “Slumber Party,” Justin Bieber’s “Friends,” Selena Gomez’s “Bad Liar,” Fergie’s “Tension,” Jason Derulo’s “If I’m Lucky,” and Halsey’s “Bad at Love.”

Meanwhile, Rexha is expected to release her next project and follow-up to 2017’s “All Your Fault: Pt. 2” later this year via Warner Brothers Records.

The highly-anticipated project, entitled “Expectations,” reportedly delivers additional contributions from Jason Evigan, Asia Whiteacre, Josh Miller, Lauren Christy, Andrew Watt, David Garcia, and Jussi “Jussifer” Karvinen.
