Dan Caplen drops new promotional single “Thank You”

Dan Caplen has dropped his new promotional single online.

The Ms Banks-assisted “Thank You” – which was co-written by Frances, James Newman, and Frederik Eichen – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Caplen’s upcoming debut album – featuring previous singles “Flat Champagne” and “Two Fingers” – is expected to arrive later this year via Atlantic Records UK.

The still-untitled project reportedly yields further contributions from Goldfingers, Jennifer Decilveo, Alex Stacey, Bastian Langebaek, Negin Djafari, Fred Cox, Levi Lennox, Jonny Coffer, Wayne Hector, and Jamie Scott.

Zhavia Ward enlists Shungudzo for new collaboration

Zhavia Ward has enlisted Shungudzo for a new collaboration.

The Zimbabwean/French/Native-American singer-songwriter (also known as Alexandra Govere) recently co-wrote and provided guest vocals on Rudimental’s “Toast to Our Differences,” out now via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Shungudzo’s songwriting resume boasts additional works with Little Mix (“Touch”), Alina Baraz (“I Don’t Even Know Why Though”), Victoria Monet (“Wish I Never Met You”), Louisa Johnson (“Best Behaviour”), Jessie Ware (“Your Domino”) and The Chainsmokers (“It Won’t Kill Ya”).

Meanwhile, Ward’s upcoming debut album is expected to arrive later this year via Sony Music Entertianment / Columbia Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly yields further contributions from Warren “Oak” Felder, Trevor Brown, Zaire Kaolo, Paul E. Phamous, Benny Cassette, Jenna Andrews, Wayne Hector, Priscilla Renea, Ben Abraham, Jin Jin, M-Phazes, Alex Hope, Symbolyc One, and Malay.

Zak Abel hits the studio with Mojam Music, Clarence Coffee Jr.

British singer/songwriter Zak Abel has recorded new music with Mustafa Omer and James Murray of Mojam Music and Clarence Coffee Jr.

Mojam have previously produced songs for Plan B (“In the Name of Man”), Tom Walker (“Heartland”), James Arthur (“Get Down”), Conor Maynard (“Talking About”), Sam Smith (“Like I Can”), Naughty Boy (“Should’ve Been Me”), Professor Green (“Monster”) and Tinie Tempah (“A Heart Can Save the World”).

Meanwhile, Coffee Jr.’s songwriting resume boasts works for Bebe Rexha (“The Way I Are”), Dua Lipa (“Genesis”), Carly Rae Jepsen (“Tonight I’m Getting Over You”), Olly Murs (“Deeper”), Kylie Minogue (“Sexercize”), Lea Michele (“On My Way”), Justin Bieber (“The Feeling”) and Selena Gomez (“Forget Forever”).

Abel, on the other hand, is expected to release his next project later this year via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records UK.

The follow-up to 2017’s “Only When We’re Naked” reportedly yields additional alliances with Nile Rodgers, Maegan Cottone, Lostboy, Will Simms, Jordan Riley, Philip Plested, SG Lewis, Evan “Kidd” Bogart, Lawrie Martin, Fred Ball, Max McElligott, and Lucy “Pawws” Taylor.

American singer, songwriter and record producer Leon Bridges has delivered his sophomore studio collection under Columbia Records.

“Good Thing” – featuring promotional singles “Bet Ain’t Worth the Hand,” “Bad Bad News” and “Beyond” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The highly-anticipated project was prominently produced by Ricky Reed, whose resume boasts additional works with Meghan Trainor (“No”), Jessie J (“Burning Up”), Halsey (“Alone”), Fifth Harmony (“Bo$$”), Kesha (“Hymn”), Jason Derulo (“Swalla”) and Christina Aguilera (“Unless it’s with You”).

Anne-Marie confirms “2002” as new promotional single

Anne-Marie has confirmed the details for her new single.

The British singer/songwriter christened “2002” as her next promotional cut and will release it on April 19 via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was written by Anne-Marie alongside Ed Sheeran (Zara Larsson, Justin Bieber), Julia Michaels (Britney Spears, Keith Urban), Steve Mac (Jess Glynne, Zak Abel) and Benny Blanco (The Weekend, FKA twigs).

Anne-Marie’s upcoming debut album “Speak Your Mind” – featuring previous singles “Friends,” “Then,” “Heavy,” “Ciao Adios” and “Alarm” – is scheduled to arrive on April 27 via Rudimental’s label Major Tom’s Music in partnership with Asylum Records (UK) and Atlantic Records (US).
