Chelcee Grimes drafts RedOne for debut album

British singer/songwriter Chelcee Grimes has drafted Moroccan-Swedish record producer Nadir Khayat (professionally known as RedOne) for her upcoming debut album under Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Label Group UK.

RedOne’s credits include Lady GaGa’s “Alejandro,” Jennifer Lopez’s “On the Floor,” Enrique Iglesias’ “I Like It,” Nicki Minaj’s “Starships,” Nicole Scherzinger’s “Poison,” Kelly Rowland’s “Down 4 Whatever,” Stanaj’s “The Way I Love Her,” Roya’s “Lie,” and Skyler Stecker’s “Bring Me to Life.”

His extensive resume boasts additional works with fellow songwriters Cathy Dennis, Evan “Kidd” Bogart, Simon Wilcox, Justin Tranter, Andrea Martin, Sean Douglas, Frankie Storm, Wayne Hector, Makeba Riddick, Talay Riley, Ester Dean, Bilal Hajji, Angela Hunte, Prince Charlez, and Sia Furler.

Grimes’ first studio collection, on the other hand, reportedly yields further productions and songwriting contributions from Steve Robson, Claude Kelly, Wayne Wilkins, Kara DioGuardi, Cutfather, Shelly Peiken, Jamie Hartman, Stuart Crichton, Richard “Biff” Stannard, and Ed Drewett.

British singer-songwriter RAYE – real name Rachel Keen – has released her new mini-collection “Second” via iTunes in partnership with Polydor Records.

Current single “I, U, Us” was written by RAYE along with Charlotte “Charli XCX” Aitchison, Jonnali “Noonie Bao” Parmenius and Frederick “FRED” Gibson.

Other musicians backing RAYE on “Second” – featuring previous promotional cuts “Tell Me,” “Ambition” and “Distraction” – are BloodPop (Tinashe, Justin Bieber) and Knox Brown (Mary J. Blige, Emeli Sande).

On the songwriting front, RAYE co-wrote Blonde’s hit single “All Cried Out” along with Cass Lowe and Lucas Secon. The Alex Newell-featuring track peaked to number four on the UK Singles Chart.

She also worked with top musicians including Jonny Coffer, Sampha, Chris Loco, Stacy Barthe, Illangelo, Jimmy Napes, Labrinth, Two Inch Punch, Arnthor Birgisson, Jonny Lattimer, MNEK, Jin Jin, Bless Beats, and Wayne Wilkins.

RAYE has confirmed the details for her new single.

The British singer-songwriter – real name Rachel Keen – christened “I, U, US” as the next promotional cut from her upcoming project.

“I, U, US” was written by RAYE along with Charlotte “Charli XCX” Aitchison, Jonnali “Noonie Bao” Parmenius and Frederick “FRED” Gibson.

RAYE’s forthcoming collection, tentatively entitled “Back 2 the Winter,” is expected to arrive later this year through Polydor Records.

On the songwriting front, RAYE co-wrote Blonde’s hit single “All Cried Out” along with Cass Lowe and Lucas Secon. The Alex Newell-featuring track peaked to number four on the UK Singles Chart.

She also worked with top musicians including Sampha, Emeli Sande, Chris Loco, Stacy Barthe, Illangelo, Jimmy Napes, Labrinth, Two Inch Punch, Arnthor Birgisson, BloodPop, Jonny Lattimer, Knox Brown, and Wayne Wilkins.

Raye has debuted her new single online.

The British singer-songwriter – real name Rachel Keen – posted the audio clip for “Distraction” to her Vevo channel on Monday (April 04, 2016).

“Distraction” – now available for download via iTunes – was written by Raye along with the songs produced Frederick “FRED” Gibson.

The track also marks the first promotional cut from Raye’s upcoming mini-collection, “Back2Winter,” which is scheduled for release later this year through Universal Music Group / Polydor Records.

Her full-length debut album, on the other hand, reportedly boasts further productions from Chris Loco, Labrinth, Two Inch Punch, Jimmy Napes, MNEK, Wayne Wilkins, Bless Beats, Knox Brown, Arnthor Birgisson, and BloodPop.

The British singer-songwriter posted her rendition of Kendrick Lamar’s “Sing About Me” to YouTube on Tuesday (February 16, 2016).

Raye’s upcoming major-label debut project – featuring the BloodPop-produced “Tell Me” – will be released later this year through Polydor Records.

Moreover, she collaborated with top songwriters and producers including Labrinth, Emeli Sande, Bless Beats, Jin Jin, Wayne Wilkins, Jimmy Napes, MNEK, Chris Loco, Arnthor Birgisson, and Knox Brown.

Tove Lo shares music video for new single “Moments”

Tove Lo has shared the music video for her new single online.

The Swedish singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “Moments” to her Vevo channel on Wednesday (October 21, 2015).

“Moments” was produced by Mattias Larsson and Robin Fredriksson, aka Mattman & Robin, who are also behind Hailee Steinfeld’s “Love Myself” [Republic] and Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Run Away with Me” [Interscope].

Video treatment was handled by Tim Erem, whose other credits include Major Lazer’s “Lean On” [Mad Decent], MØ’s “XXX 88” [Sony], Elliphant’s “Down on Life” [Kemosabe] and Daniel Adams-Ray’s “Babbelover” [Universal].

Lo’s first studio collection “Queen of the Clouds” – featuring previous singles “Habits (Stay High),” “Talking Body” and “Timebomb” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Island Records.

The album boasts further contributions from Klas Ahlund (Britney Spears), Shellback (Christina Aguilera), Alexander Kronlund (Demi Lovato), Wayne Wilkins (Beyonce) and Ali Payami (Taylor Swift).

Raye has recorded new material with Jimmy Napes.

The Grammy-winning singer, songwriter and record producer is known for helming singles including Mary J. Blige’s “Right Now” [Capitol], Gorgon City’s “Unmissable” [Island] and Clean Bandit’s “Rather Be” [Atlantic].

He also contributed to the next projects by Disclosure [Island], Sam Smith [Capitol], Alicia Keys [RCA], Eliza Doolittle [Parlophone], Kwabs [Atlantic], Ellie Goulding [Polydor], Karen Harding [Capitol] and Grace [RCA].

Meanwhile, Raye – birth name Rachel Keen – is expected to release her debut project later this year through Polydor Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly features productions and songwriting contributions from Chris Loco, Emeli Sande, Labrinth, Wayne Wilkins, Arnthor Birgisson, Knox Brown, Bless Beats, Jin Jin, and Deputy.

In case you didn’t know, Raye also co-wrote “All Cried Out” with Jacob Manson and Adam Englefield of UK deep house production duo Blonde. The Alex Newell-assisted track peaked to number four on the UK Singles Chart.
