Hailee Steinfeld works with Ali Tamposi for debut album

Hailee Steinfeld has worked with Ali Tamposi for her upcoming debut album under Universal Music Group / Republic Records.

Notable songwriting credits by Tamposi include Kelly Clarkson’s “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You),” Liza Owen’s “Don’t Call Me Baby,” Cover Drive’s “Can’t Live in a World,” Lea Michele’s “Run to You,” Kygo’s “It Ain’t Me” (featuring Selena Gomez), and DJ Snake’s “Let Me Love You” (featuring Justin Bieber).

Her extensive resume boasts additional works with producers including John Shanks, Toby Gad, Jonathan “J.R.” Rotem, Louis Biancaniello, Sam Watters, Teddy Geiger, Julian Bunetta, Fraser T. Smith, Greg Kurstin, Jim Jonsin, Boi-1da, Supa Dups, Jim Beanz, RedOne, and David Guetta.

Steinfeld’s current promotional single “Most Girls,” on the other hand, is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets. The track was co-written with Asia Whiteacre, Ryan Tedder, Zach Skelton, Jeremy “Kinetics” Dussolliet and Tim “One Love” Sommers.

For her still-untitled debut album, the “Love Myself” star has also worked with songwriters and producers including Bloodpop, Julia Michaels, Justin Tranter, Rami Yacoub, Whitney Phillips, Albin Nedler, Tayla Parx, BURNS, Kathryn Ostenberg, Brandon Skeie, and Gino “Farrago” Barletta.

Natalie La Rose teases new collaboration with Mike Dean

Natalie La Rose has teased a new collaboration with Mike Dean.

“When I laid my eyes on @therealmikedean precious Grand, I just couldn’t keep my hands off of it,” the Dutch singer/songwriter posted on Instagram.

Dean is known for his production works with Kanye West (“Ultralight Beam”), Beyonce (“Love Drought”), The Weeknd (“Tell Your Friends”), Madonna (“Inside Out”), Justin Bieber (“No Sense”) and Rihanna (“FourFiveSeconds”).

In addition to launching a record label by the name of M.W.A. (an acronym for Dean’s DJ name Mexican Wrestling Association), the American record producer has also contributed to Sky Ferreira’s sophomore album “Masochism.”

Meanwhile, La Rose is expected to release her debut album later this year via Dreams World/Sony RAL.

The still-untitled collection reportedly boasts further productions from Jarrad Rogers (Rita Ora), Shama Joseph (Rihanna), GRADES (Jess Glynne), Tommy Brown (Ariana Grande), Detail (Jhene Aiko), The Stereotypes (Bruno Mars), DJ Marley Watters (Justine Skye), and T-Minus (Kelly Rowland).

On the songwriting front, La Rose has worked with Caroline Ailin (Dua Lipa), Scott Harris (Phoebe Ryan), Courtney Harrell (Fantasia Barrino), Talay Riley (Keri Hilson), Whitney Phillips (Sabrina Ddumba), Breyan Isaac (Charlie Puth), Rosina Russell (David Guetta) and Jacob Luttrell (Tori Kelly).

Sabina Ddumba enlists Axident, Big Taste for new collaboration

Swedish singer/songwriter Sabina Ddumba has drafted Andreas “Axident” Schuller and Leroy “Big Taste” Clampitt for a new collaboration.

Axident is known for co-writing and producing Jason Derulo’s “Wiggle,” Far East Movement’s “Turn Up the Love,” Jessie J’s “Burning Up,” Robin Schulz’s “Headlights,” and Justin Bieber’s “Company.”

Meanwhile, Big Taste’s production credits include Bebe Rexha’s “Small Doses,” Maty Noyes’ “Falling Out of Love,” Jake Miller’s “Overnight,” Lindsey Stirling’s “First Light,” and Justin Bieber’s “Company.”

Ddumba, on the other hand, is expected to release her sophomore studio collection later this year via Warner Music Sweden.

The follow-up to 2016’s “Homeward Bound” reportedly boasts additional alliances with Warren Felder, Ilsey Juber, mike “Scribz” Riley, Jenna Andrews, Hayley Warner, Lisa Scinta, Taylor “Tayla Parx” Parks, Whitney Phillips, Shungudzo “Alexandra Govere” Kuyimba, and Grace Tither.

Sabina Ddumba drafts Tayla Parx for sophomore album

Sabina Ddumba has drafted Tayla Parx for her upcoming sophomore album.

The American singer/songwriter (born Taylor Parks) has co-penned songs for Mariah Carey (“Infinity”), Alicia Keys (“In Common”), Jojo (“Fuck Apologies”), Meghan Trainor (“Better”), Jennifer Lopez (“So Good”), Keyshia Cole (“Rick James”) and Jason Derulo (“Love Me Down”).

In addition to working on her own music project, Parx has also contributed to the next releases by Cassie, Ariana Grande, Christina Aguilera, Demi Lovato, Kesha, Fleur East, Mollie King, Stanaj, Diana Gordon, Alina Baraz, Majid Jordan, Hailee Steinfeld, Skip Marley, Tori Kelly, Georgia Ku, and Cameron Dallas.

Meanwhile, Ddumba is expected to release the follow-up to 2016’s “Homeward Bound” later this year via Warner Music Sweden.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers additional alliances with Warren “Oak” Felder, Ilsey Juber, Mike “Scribz” Riley, Jenna Andrews, GRADES, Hayley Warner, Whitney Phillips, Shungudzo Kuyimba, and Grace Tither.

The track was co-written by Steinfeld alongside Asia Whiteacre (Bebe Rexha, Rachel Platten) and Jeremy “Kinetics” Dussolliet (Neon Hitch, Diana Gordon).

Production duties on “Most Girls” were collectively handled by Ryan Tedder (Kesha, Camila Cabello), Zach Skelton (James Blunt, OneRepublic) and Tim “One Love” Sommers (Melanie Martinez, Jasmine Thompson).

The British singer/songwriter posted an exclusive acoustic performance of “Genesis” to her YouTube channel on Saturday (April 16, 2017).

The track was co-written by Sarah Hudson (Katy Perry, Ella Henderson), Ferras Al-Qaisi (Idina Menzel, Ricky Martin), Clarence Coffee Jr. (Olly Murs, Jake Miller) and Andreas “Axident” Schuller (Justin Bieber, Thomas Rhett).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Dua Lipa’s self-titled album will be released on June 2 via Warner Music Group / Warner Bros. Records.

Dua Lipa has delivered the music video for her new single online.

The British singer-songwriter posted the visual clip for “Thinkin ‘Bout You” to her YouTube channel on Wednesday (February 22, 2017).

The track was co-written by Adam Argyle, whose other credits include Jamie Lawson’s “The Last Time,” Melanie C’s “Anymore,” Ronan Keating’s “Time of My Life,” Izzy Bizu’s “Hello Crazy,” and James Bay’s “Clocks Go Forward.”

Production duties on “Thinkin ‘Bout You” – now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets – were handled by Stephen “KOZ” Kozmeniuk, who previously teamed up with Dua Lipa on “Last Dance.”

The “Hotter than Hell” star’s debut album, on the other hand, will arrive on June 2nd via Warner Music Group / Warner Brothers Records.
