Zara Larsson drafts The Futuristics for new collaboration

Swedish singer/songwriter Zara Larsson has drafted Alex Schwartz and Joe Khajadourian of The Futuristics for a new collaboration.

The American duo recently co-produced and co-wrote “Wanna Be Missed” for Hayley Kiyoko alongside Jonas Jeberg and Madison Love. The track appears on Kiyoko’s debut album, “Expectations,” out now via Empire / Atlantic Records.

The Futuristics’ are also responsible for G-Eazy’s “Sober,” Selena Gomez’s “Fetish,” Camila Cabello’s “Something’s Gotta Give,” Liz Huett’s “STFU & Hold Me,” Alex Aiono’s “Does it Feel Like Falling,” Halsey’s “Hold Me Down,” Trey Songz’s “Serve it Up,” and Natalie La Rose’s “Somebody.”

Larsson, on the other hand, is expected to release the follow-up to 2017’s “So Good” later this year via TEN Music Group and Epic Records.

Other album songwriters/producers include The Electric, Caroline Ailin, Rami Yacoub, Whitney Phillips, Leland, Madison Love, Fred Ball, Delacey, Jack Patterson, Natt Dunn, Andrew Wells, Will IDAP, Jim Lavigne, Sermstyle, Digital Farm Animals, Cass Lowe, Kid Joki, MNEK, and Hit Impulse.

Zara Larsson hits the studio with Digital Farm Animals

Zara Larsson has tapped Digital Farm Animals for a new collaboration.

The British DJ, record producer, songwriter, and remixer – born Nicholas Gale – is known for his works with Dua Lipa (“Be the One”), Louis Tomlinson (“Back to You”), Noah Cyrus (“Stay Together”), Rita Ora (“Anywhere”), Rudimental (“All That Love”), Jones (“Wild”) and Alex Newell (“Devilish”).

His current singles “Say My Name” (featuring Iman) and “Tokyo Nights” (featuring Dragonette and Shaun Frank) are now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Larsson, on the other hand, is expected to release her next album and follow-up to 2017’s “So Good” later this year via TEN Music Group and Epic Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly yields further productions and songwriting contributions from The Electric, Caroline Ailin, Rami Yacoub, Whitney Phillips, Leland, Madison Love, Fred Ball, Delacey, Jack Patterson, Will IDAP, Jim Lavigne, Sermstyle, Cass Lowe, Kid Joki, MNEK, and Hit Impulse.

Swedish singer/songwriter Zara Larsson has teamed up with British musician Cass Lowe for a new collaboration.

Lowe recently co-wrote “Nostalgia” for MØ alongside John Hill, Ajay “Stint” Bhattacharyya, Mike “Scribz” Riley, and Kurtis “K9” McKenzie. The track is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

Lowe’s resume boasts additional works with Rudimental (“Sun Comes Up”), Zak Abel (“The River”), Astrid S (“Such a Boy”), Fifth Harmony (“Scared of Happy”), Charli XCX (“Boys”), Sinead Harnett (“Anywhere But Here”), AlunaGeorge (“I Remember”), Niia (“Girl Like Me”) and Snakehips (“All My Friends”).

Era Istrefi confirms new promotional single “Origami”

Era Istrefi has confirmed the details for her new single.

The Albanian singer/songwriter christened “Origami” as the next promotional cut from her upcoming still-untitled album under B1 Recordings / Neser Music / Ultra Records.

The track was written by Istrefi alongside Whitney Phillips (Hailee Steinfeld, Nick Jonas), Jerker Hansson (Zara Larsson, Erik Hassle) and Jarrad Rogers (Ella Eyre, Rachel Platten).

Featuring previous singles “No I Love Yous” and “Redrum,” Istrefi’s forthcoming project boasts further songwriting contributions from JHart, Maria Hazell, Chelcee Grimes, Sam Romans, Marli Harwood, Kamille, Jesse Saint John, Sarah Hudson, Maegan Cottone, Linnea Sodahl, and Jenna Andrews.

On the production front, the “Bonbon” star has also teamed up with TMS, Rami Yacoub, Jonas Jeberg, King Henry, Digital Farm Animals, Will Simms, Fred Ball, Two Inch Punch, and Hit Impulse.

American recording artist Hailee Steinfeld has teamed with Norwegian singer/songwriter Caroline Ailin and British songwriting/production team Peter Kelleher, Benjamin Kohn and Thomas Barnes of TMS for a new collaboration.

Ailin’s songwriting resume boasts works with Dua Lipa (“New Rules”), Tiffany Hwang (“Talk”), Olivia Holt (“History”), Aanysa (“Burn Break Crash”), Rachel Platten (“Hey Hey Hallelujah”), Grades (“Crocodile Tears”), JKay (“Danger”), Alex Adair (“Casual”) and Tulecco (“Creative”).

Meanwhile, TMS are responsible for helming Craig David’s “Change My Love,” Justine Skye’s “Don’t Think About It,” Dua Lipa’s “Bad Together,” Louisa Johnson’s “Best Behaviour,” Jess Glynne’s “Don’t Be So Hard on Yourself,” Paloma Faith’s “Guilty,” and Anne-Marie’s “Can I Get Your Number?”

Swedish singer/songwriter Zara Larsson has enlisted fellow recording artist Camille Purcell, professionally known as Kamille, for a new collaboration.

Kamille is known for co-writing Little Mix’s “Shout Out to My Ex,” Olly Murs’ “You Don’t Know Love,” Fleur East’s “Sax,” Sigma’s “Find Me,” Ella Henderson’s “Glow,” The Script’s “Rain,” and Neiked’s “Call Me.”

Kamille’s debut mini-album “My Head’s a Mess” – featuring productions from regular collaborators Chris Loco and Linus Nordstrom and Frank Noble of Goldfingers – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

Meanwhile, Larsson is scheduled to release her next studio collection and follow-up to 2017’s “So Good” later this year via TEN Music Group and Epic Records.
