Nick Jonas taps Kamille for new collaboration

American singer/songwriter Nick Jonas has tapped the songwriting services of fellow recording artist Kamille for an upcoming project.

Kamille’s recent credits include Clean Bandit’s “Solo,” Louisa Johnson’s “Yes,” Jess Glynne’s “I’ll Be There,” Mist’s “Wish Me Well,” James Arthur’s “You Deserve Better,” and Don Diablo’s “Give Me Love.”

Her current single “Emotional” – which was co-written and produced by Peter “Merf” Kelleher, Benjamin Kohn and Thomas “Froe” Barnes of TMS – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

Meanwhile, Jonas’ upcoming album and follow-up to 2016’s “Last Year Was Complicated” is expected to arrive soon via Island Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly delivers further contributions from Cass Lowe, Skylar Grey, Jason Evigan, Harloe, Sebastian Kole, Whitney Phillips, Jesse Saint John, Steve Mac, Warren “Oak” Felder,  and Julian Bunetta.

Fans of Kamille’s songwriting works should also keep an eye on the next releases by Little Mix, Olly Murs, Marina Diamandis, Louis Tomlinson, Ray BLK, Mali-Koa, Ella Henderson, John Newman, Mullally, and Rihanna.

Christina Aguilera releases new album “Liberation”

Christina Aguilera has released her eighth studio collection online.

“Liberation” – featuring promotional singles “Accelerate,” “Fall in Line,” “Twice” and “Like I Do” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2012’s “Lotus” boasts productions from Kanye West, Mike Dean, Che Pope, Hudson Mohawke, Kosine, Noah Goldstein, Charlie Heat, Dumbfounded, Anderson Paak, MNEK, Bryan “Composer” Nelson, Neenyo, Sango, Jon Bellion, Darhyl “DJ” Camper, Tim Anderson, and Ricky Reed.

On the songwriting front, Aguilera has worked with Ilsey Juber, Teddy Geiger, Kirby Lauryen, Erik Hassle, Bibi Bourelly, LunchMoney Lewis, Tayla Parx, Justin Tranter, Whitney Phillips, Audra Mae, and Julia Michaels.

NAO teams up with Grades, Stint for new single “Another Lifetime”

British singer/songwriter Neo Joshua, professionally known as Nao, has released her new promotional single online.

“Another Lifetime” – which was co-written and collectively produced by Daniel “Grades” Traynor and Ajay “Stint” Bhattacharyya – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

NAO’s upcoming sophomore album – featuring further productions and songwriting contributions from The Stereotypes, Whitney Phillips, George Moore, Sasha Sloan, King Henry, and Bastian Langebaek – is expected to arrive later this year via Little Tokyo Recordings and RCA Records.

Her debut studio collection, 2016’s “For All We Know,” peaked to number seventeen on the UK Albums Chart and spawned four singles in the shape of “Bad Blood,” “Girlfriend,” “Fool to Love” and “In the Morning.”

Sabina Ddumba reunites with Ali Tennant, Michael Angelo for new single “Small World”

Swedish singer/songwriter Sabina Ddumba has liberated her new single online.

“Small World” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by regular collaborators Ali Tennant and Michael Angelo, who previously teamed up with Ddumba on “Loyal Royal,” “Kingdom Come,” “Runaway” and “Effortless.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Ddumba’s upcoming sophomore album is expected to arrive later this year via Warner Music Sweden.

The follow-up to 2016’s “Kingdom Come” reportedly yields additional alliances with Axident, Jenna Andrews, Gladius James, Hayley Warner, Warren “Oak” Felder, Tayla Parx, Fred Ball, Whitney Phillips, and Iain James.

Hailee Steinfeld teams up with MNEK for new single “Colour”

Hailee Steinfeld has teamed up with MNEK for his new single “Colour,” which will arrive on June 1 via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

The track was written by MNEK (real name Uzoechi Emenike) alongside fellow recording artist Anne-Marie Nicholson and Dutch record producer Raoul Chen (known professionally as Diztortion).

MNEK’s debut album – featuring current single “Tongue” – is scheduled for release later this year via Digital Teddy / Virgin EMI Records.

He also produced and co-wrote “Deserve” for Christina Aguilera alongside Julia Michaels. The track appears on Aguilera’s upcoming eighth album, “Liberation,” out on June 15 via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

Meanwhile, Steinfeld’s next project reportedly yields contributions from TMS, Caroline Ailin, Ryan Tedder, Zach Skelton, Casey Smith, Billboard, Asia Whiteacre, Rissi Rissi, Noah Breakfast, Ali Tamposi, Rami Yaqoub, Tayla Parx, Albin Nedler, Whitney Phillips, Justin Tranter, and Julia Michaels.

Zara Larsson drafts The Futuristics for new collaboration

Swedish singer/songwriter Zara Larsson has drafted Alex Schwartz and Joe Khajadourian of The Futuristics for a new collaboration.

The American duo recently co-produced and co-wrote “Wanna Be Missed” for Hayley Kiyoko alongside Jonas Jeberg and Madison Love. The track appears on Kiyoko’s debut album, “Expectations,” out now via Empire / Atlantic Records.

The Futuristics’ are also responsible for G-Eazy’s “Sober,” Selena Gomez’s “Fetish,” Camila Cabello’s “Something’s Gotta Give,” Liz Huett’s “STFU & Hold Me,” Alex Aiono’s “Does it Feel Like Falling,” Halsey’s “Hold Me Down,” Trey Songz’s “Serve it Up,” and Natalie La Rose’s “Somebody.”

Larsson, on the other hand, is expected to release the follow-up to 2017’s “So Good” later this year via TEN Music Group and Epic Records.
