Melissa Steel and Krishane have dropped a new performance video online.

BBC Radio 1 posted the duo’s rendition of Estelle’s hit single “American Boy” to its official YouTube page on Saturday (September 27, 2014).

The Kanye West-assisted / will.i.am-produced track is taken from Estelle’s second album, “Shine,” which peaked at number six on the UK Albums Chart.

Krishane recently released the music video for his new single “Young and Incapable.” The track – featuring vocals from Melissa Steele – will be available for download from October 19 via iTunes (UK).

The full length debut albums of both artists are expected to hit stores and digital outlets in 2015 via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

Leah McFall confirms debut album “Weird to Wonderful”

Leah McFall has confirmed the title for her debut album.

The Irish singer/songwriter christened her first studio collection “Weird to Wonderful” and will release it later this year via Capitol Records.

Lead single “Home” – helmed by Black Eyed Peas frontman will.i.am along with Jean Baptiste Kouame, Ryan “DJ Replay” Buendia and Michael McHenry – is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

“Weird to Wonderful” is expected to yield further contributions from Sia (Beyonce, Kelly Rowland), Ester Dean (Rihanna, Jasmine Villegas), Lauren Evans (Ciara, Jordin Sparks) and Shaznay Lewis (Stooshe, Little Mix).

Rita Ora has recruited Tommy Brown for her upcoming sophomore album.

The songwriter and record producer – born Thomas Brown – previously collaborated with artists including Nas [Def Jam Recordings], Jennifer Lopez [Capitol Records] and CeeLo Green [Elektra Records].

Some of his notable credits include Christette Michele’s “Visual Love” [Motown Records] Ariana Grande’s “Honeymoon Avenue” [Republic Records] and Kanye West’s “Sin City” [Roc-A-Fella Records].

Meanwhile, Ora’s new LP is scheduled for release later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / Roc Nation / Columbia Records.

The Calvin Harris-penned and produced lead single “I Will Never Let You Down” debuted at number one on the UK Singles Chart.

Among the other musicians backing Ora on the highly-anticipated project are DJ Fresh (Ellie Goulding, Nicola Roberts), will.i.am (Leah McFall, Britney Spears), DJ Mustard (Rihanna, Charli XCX) and Diplo (Usher, Chris Brown).

Rita Ora has reunited with will.i.am for her upcoming sophomore album.

The hitmaker – born William Adams – previously co-wrote and produced “Fall in Love,” taken from the British artist’s debut album “ORA.”

Some of his other songwriting and production credits include Britney Spears’ “Perfume” [RCA Records], Leah McFall’s “Home” [Capitol Records] and Nicole Scherzinger’s “Boomerang” [Interscope Records].

Rita Ora’s highly-anticipated new album is scheduled for release later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / Roc Nation / Columbia Records.

The still-untitled LP reportedly boasts further alliances from Calvin Harris, Diplo, Switch, DJ Fresh, Priscilla Renea, and DJ Mustard.

Production duties were handled by William Adams, who is also responsible for Estelle’s “American Boy” [Atlantic Records], Britney Spears’ “Big Fat Bass” [RCA Records] and Nicole Scherzinger’s “Boomerang” [Interscope Records].

As previously reported, the highly-anticipated debut collection by Leah McFall is due later this year via Universal Music Group / Capitol Records.

Jamie Foxx recruits Elijah Blake for new album

Jamie Foxx has recruited Elijah Blake for his upcoming fifth studio album.

The R&B singer and songwriter – born Sean Fenton – is known for co-writing Keyshia Cole’s “Rick James” [Interscope Records], Rihanna’s “No Love Allowed” [Def Jam Recordings] and Ciara’s “DUI” [Epic Records].

In addition, he’s currently putting the final touches on his debut LP, tentatively entitled “Songs About Melody.” The highly-anticipated project will be distributed via Universal Music Group / Def Jam Recordings.

Meanwhile, the new studio album by Jamie Foxx is expected to be released later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

It serves as the follow-up to 2010’s “Best Night of My Life,” which debuted at number six on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and delivered hit singles including “Winner” and the Drake-assisted “Fall for Your Type.”

Among the other hitmakers backing the “Unpredictable” star on the still-untitled project are Mike WiLL Made It (Brandy, Mariah Carey), Lonny Bereal (Chris Brown, Teyana Taylor), will.i.am (Usher, Nicole Scherzinger), Kevin Cossom (Mary J. Blige, Keri Hilson) and Kanye West (Beyonce, John Legend).
