All Saints release new promotional single “Glorious”

British girl group All Saints – composed of Shaznay Lewis, Melanie Blatt, Nicole Appleton and Natalie Appleton – have released their new single online.

“Glorious” – which was co-written and produced by regular collaboration Karl “K-Gee” Gordon – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

All Saints’ upcoming fifth album “Testament” – featuring previous single “Love Lasts Forever” – will arrive on July 27th via AS Recordings.

The follow-up to 2016’s “Red Flag” yields additional contributions from George Moore, Fred Ball, William Orbit, and Peter “Hutch” Hutchings.

All Saints reunite with William Orbit for new album “Testament”

British girl group All Saints – consisting of members Shaznay Lewis, Melanie Blatt, Nicole Appleton and Natalie Appleton – have reunited with William Orbit for their upcoming album fifth studio collection “Testament.”

Orbit previously teamed up with All Saints on hit singles “Pure Shores” and “Black Coffee.” Taken from the group’s sophomore album “Saints and Sinners” (2000), both tracks topped the UK Albums Chart.

Among the other artists Orbit has collaborated with are Madonna (“Frozen”), Britney Spears (“Alien”), Chris Brown (“Don’t Wake Me Up”), Pink (“Feel Good Time”), Melanie C (“Go”), Ricky Martin (“Be Careful”), Nadine Coyle (“Unbroken”), Betty Boo (“24 Hours”) and Robbie Williams (“Summertime”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, All Saints are scheduled to release their new album “Testament” on July 13th via AS Recordings / London Records.

Lead single “Love Lasts Forever” – which was co-written and produced by regular collaborator Karl Gordon – will arrive on May 31st via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2016’s “Red Flag” yields further productions from George Moore (Paloma Faith, Yebba Smith), Fred Ball (Nina Nesbitt, Jessie Ware) and Peter “Hutch” Hutchings (Raye, Matt Cardle).

Madonna recruits Mozella, Toby Gad for new album

Pop queen Madonna has recruited Mozella and Toby Gad for her upcoming as-yet-untitled thirteenth studio album.

Recent songwriting credits by Mozella – born Maureen McDonald – are Tessanne Chin’s “Tumbling Down” [Universal Music Group / Republic Records] and Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records].

Meanwhile, Toby Gad is known for co-writing and producing works for John Legend (“All of Me”), Selena Gomez (“Nobody Does It Like You”), Rebecca Ferguson (“Wonderful World”) and Jessica Sanchez (“Drive By”).

Meanwhile, the new collection by Madonna is expected to be released later this year via Universal Music Group / Live Nation / Interscope Records.

It serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “MDNA,” which debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and delivered hit singles including “Give Me All Your Luvin’,” “Girl Gone Wild” and “Turn Up the Radio.”

In addition to Mozella and Toby Gad, the highly-anticipated LP will boast further contributions from Martin Kierzenbaum (Alexandra Burke, Lady Gaga), Avicii (Leona Lewis, Aloe Blacc) and Symbolyc One (Beyoncé, Kanye West).

William Orbit releases new remix for ‘Some Girls’ by Madonna

William Orbit has released a new song online.

The hitmaker posted a previously-unheard remix for “Some Girls” by Madonna to his official SoundCloud page on Wednesday (January 29, 2013).

The track is lifted from the artist’s twelfth studio album, “MDNA,” out now via Universal Music Group / Live Nation / Interscope Records.

Orbit co-wrote “Some Girls” with Klas Ahlund, whose credits include “This is How We Do” by Katy Perry [Capitol Records], “Sweetie” by Carly Rae Jepsen [Interscope Records] and “Shy Boy” by Jordin Sparks [RCA Records].

“MDNA” boasts further songwriting contributions from Jean Baptiste Kouame (Tulisa Contostavlos, Wynter Gordon), Priscilla Renea Hamilton (Chris Brown, The Saturdays) and Keith Harris (Estelle Swaray, Mariah Carey).

Orbit recently produced “Alien” on Britney Spears’ latest album, “Britney Jean,” out now via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records. He wrote the track with Ana Diaz, Antony Preston, and Daniel “HyGrade” Traynor.

He also worked on the highly-anticipated third LP by British singer/songwriter Adele, which is expected to release later this year via XL Recordings.

Adele has reunited with Ryan “Alias” Tedder for her upcoming third LP.

The still-untitled project – which serves as the follow-up to 2010’s “21” – is expected to be released later this year via XL Recordings.

The British songstress previously teamed up with OneRepublic’s frontman on hit single “Rumor Has It” as well as the Jim Abbiss-produced “Turning Tables.”

Other notable songwriting and production credits by Ryan “Alias” Tedder include “XO” by Beyonce [Columbia Records], “Hold On” by Colbie Caillat [Republic Records] and “Burn” by Ellie Goulding [Polydor Records].

As previously reported, the highly-anticipated LP by Adele is expected to boast further contributions from Greg Wells (Mika, Katy Perry), Kid Harpoon (Shakira, Jessie Ware) and William Orbit (Madonna, Robbie Williams).

Adele registers new song title with ASCAP

British singer/songwriter Adele has registered a new song title with ASCAP – The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers.

“Devil on My Shoulder” was written by Adele along with Greg Wells, who previously teamed up with artist on “One and Only.”

The track is expected to appear on Adele’s highly-anticipated fourth album, which is expected to be released later this year via XL Recordings.

Some of Wells other notable credits include “Choose Your Battles” by Katy Perry [Capitol Records], “Popular Song” by Mika f/ Ariana Grande [Republic Records] and “The Same” by Birdy [Atlantic Records].

For the follow-up to 2011’s “21,” Adele has also enlisted hitmakers Diane Warren (Brandy, Kelly Rowland), William Orbit (Madonna, Britney Spears) and Tom “Kid Harpoon” Hull (Jessie Ware, Eliza Doolittle).

British starlet Adele has snagged the songwriting services of Diane Warren for her upcoming third studio album with XL Recordings.

Warren is known for collaborating with heavyweights including Beyonce Knowles [Columbia Records], Mariah Carey [Island Def Jam Recordings], Christina Aguilera [RCA Records] and Britney Spears [RCA Records].

Some of her recent credits include “Bleed for Love” by Jennifer Hudson [RCA Records], “Unfinished Songs” by Celine Dion [Columbia Records] and “You Don’t Have the Right” by The Saturdays [Polydor Records].

She also worked on the next albums by Ella Henderson [Syco Music], Paloma Faith [RCA Records], Kelly Rowland [Republic Records], Nikki Williams [Island Records] and Jennifer Lopez [Capitol Records].

For the highly-anticipated follow-up to 2010’s “21,” the “Someone Like You” star has also enlisted the production services of William Orbit (Robbie Williams, Chris Brown) and Tom “Kid Harpoon” Hull (Jessie Ware, Eliza Doolittle).

Britney Spears premieres music video for new single ‘Perfume’

Britney Spears has premiered the music video for her new single online.

“Perfume” – produced by Chris Braide along with Will.i.am and Keith Harris – marks the second promotional single from the singer/songwriter’s latest album, “Britney Jean,” out now via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The track was co-written by Sia Furler and Chris Braide, who are also responsible for “Blank Page” by Christina Aguilera [RCA Records] and “God Made You Beautiful” by Beyonce [Columbia Records].

Video treatment was handled by Joseph Khan, whose recent credits include “In My City” by Priyanka Chopra [Interscope Records] and “#Beautiful” by Mariah Carey featuring Miguel [Island Def Jam Recordings].

“Britney Jean” – which serves as the follow-up to 2011’s “Femme Fatale” – boasts further contributions from William Orbit (Madonna, Robbie Williams), David Guetta (Rihanna, Chris Brown) and Diplo (Usher, Katy Perry).

Charli XCX writes new material with Cathy Dennis

Charli XCX has recently written new material with Cathy Dennis.

The legendary hitmaker is known for collaborating with Kylie Minogue [Parlophone Records], Britney Spears [RCA Records], Katy Perry [Capitol Records], Pixie Lott [Mercury Records] and Calvin Harris [Columbia Records].

Among Cathy’s recent songwriting credits are “Case Closed” by Little Mix [Syco Music], “4 Carats” by Kelly Clarkson [RCA Records] and “The Last Thing I Need is You” by Hooverphonics [Columbia Records].

Meanwhile, the “Black Roses” star – born Charlotte Aitchison – is planning to release the follow-up to “True Romance” in June 2014 via Atlantic Records.

Her new single “SuperLove” – available for download from December 8 via iTunes – was produced by Patrick Berger, who previously teamed up with the artist for Icona Pop’s breakout single “I Love It.”

Other musicians that Charli XCX has recorded new material with are Starsmith (Ellie Goulding, Cheryl Cole), Dimitri Tikovoi (Mikky Ekko, The Saturdays), William Orbit (Madonna, Britney Spears).

William Orbit graces third studio album by Adele

Adele has added William Orbit to the list of collaborators for her third LP.

The British producer is known for collaborating with the likes of Robbie Williams, Chris Brown, Charli XCX, Nadine Coyle, Mika, and All Saints.

Some of his notable credits include “Masterpiece” by Madonna [Interscope Records], “Go” by Melanie C [Virgin Records], “Making Out” by No Doubt [Interscope Records] and “Alien” by Britney Spears [RCA Records].

Adele’s last studio album, “21,” was released in 2011 via XL Recordings. That collection debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and delivered hit singles including “Rolling in the Deep” and “Someone Like You.”

In 2013, she received an Academy Award as well as the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song for her song “Skyfall”, written with hitmaker Paul Epworth for “Skyfall,” the twenty-third James Bond film.
