Wilkinson unleashes sophomore album “Hypnotic”

British drum and bass music producer and DJ Mark Wilkinson, professionally known as Wilkinson, has released his sophomore album online.

“Hypnotic” is now available via available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2013’s “Lazers Not Included” boasts guest appearances from Karen Harding (“Sweet Lies”), Shannon Saunders (“Breathe”), Andreya Triana (“Take Us Home”), Matt Wills (“We Will Be”), Raphaella (“Only the Innocent”), Wretch 32 (“Flatline”) and Livvi Franc (“In the Dark”).

Among the songwriters backing Wilkinson on the album are Negin Djafari (Liza Owen), Jessica “SLO” Mills (Gorgon City), Dee Adam (Ria Ritchie), Jem Cooke (Rebecca Ferguson), Bradford Ellis (Fleur East), Ali Tennant (Craig David), Talay Riley (Keri Hilson) and Josh Record (Ella Henderson).

Vanessa White teams up with Wretch 32 for new single “Lipstick Kisses”

Vanessa White has announced the title of her new single.

The British singer-songwriter christened “Lipstick Kisses” – featuring Wretch 32 – as the next promotional cut from her upcoming EP, “Chapter One.”

Production duties on “Lipstick Kisses” were handled by regular collaborator Tre Jean-Marie, who also worked on the next projects by Craig David [Sony Music], Melissa Steel [Atlantic], KStewart [Warner Brothers], and M.O [Polydor].

As mentioned in earlier posts, “Chapter One” – featuring previous promotional cuts “Relationship Goals,” “Don’t Wanna Be Your Lover” and “Nostalgia” – will be available for download from February 19 through Karma Artists Recordings.

Meanwhile, White’s full-length debut album – boasting contributions from Chris Loco, Natalia Hajjara, Bless Beats, Joel Compass, Snakehips, Chelcee Grimes, and Future Cut – is expected to hit stores and online outlets later this year.

Melissa Steel premieres “You Love Me?” music video

Melissa Steel has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “You Love Me?” – featuring Wretch 32 – to her YouTube channel on Monday (August 03, 2015).

“You Love Me?” – available for download from September 11 via iTunes (UK) – was co-written by ROMANS, whose other credits include Naughty Boy (“Home”), Mary J. Blige (“Doubt”) and Olly Murs (“We Still Love”).

Production duties were handled by Rodney Jerkins, who is also responsible for Mariah Carey’s “You’re Mine (Eternal)” [Def Jam], Avery Wilson’s “If I Have To” [RCA] and Rihanna’s “As Real As You and Me” [Roc Nation].

Steel’s upcoming debut album – featuring lead single “Kisses for Breakfast” – will be released later this year through Disturbing London and Atlantic Records.

The still-untitled project boasts further collaborations with Bless Beats (Krishane, Tinie Tempah), Jin Jin (Sinead Harnett, Jess Glynne), Knox Brown (Raye, Emeli Sande) and Carmen Reece (Samantha Jade, Ariana Grande).

Angel reveals tracklist for new mini-album “Possession with Intent”

Angel has revealed the official tracklist for his upcoming mini-album.

The British singer, songwriter and record producer – born Sirach Charles – is scheduled to release “Possession with Intent” on October 12 via iTunes (UK) in partnership with Parallel Music Group / Island Records.

“Possession with Intent” serves as the follow-up to 2013’s “About Time,” which spawned hit singles including “Beautiful” and “Time After Time,” as well as collaborations with Parker Ighile, Frank Ocean, and James Fauntleroy.

Shakka unveils music video for new single “When Will I See You Again”

Shakka has unveiled the music video for his new single online.

The singer, songwriter and record producer posted the visual clip for “When Will I See You Again” to his official Vevo page on Monday (September 29, 2014).

“When Will I See You Again” – written and produced by Shakka – will be available for download from October 19 via iTunes (UK).

Shakka previously teamed up with Wretch 32 on hit single “Blackout,” which peaked at number six on the UK Singles Chart.

He also wrote “Too Many Cooks” for fellow British artist Tanya Lacey along with Jarred Cotter and Dan Radclyffe.

His as-yet-untitled debut album is expected to be released in early 2015 via West London-based entertainment brand Big Drum Entertainment.

Naughty Boy has unveiled the songwriting credits for his upcoming album.

The British producer – real name Shahid Khan – will release “Hotel Cabana” in the United Kingdom on August 26 via EMI Music Group / Virgin Records.

New single “Lifted” – which features frequent collaborator Emeli Sande – will be released on August 19 via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

The track serves as the follow-up to previous single “La La La (featuring Sam Smith),” which debuted at number one on the UK Singles Chart.

Other artists backing Naughty Boy on “Hotel Cabana” are Gabrielle [TBA], Ella Eyre [Virgin Records], Maiday [Interscope Records], Wiz Khalifa [Atlantic Records], Ed Sheeran [Elektra Records] and Bastille [Virgin Records].
