Beyonce unleashes standalone music video for “Sorry”

Beyonce has unleashed a new music video online.

The singer-songwriter posted the Dikayl Rimmasch-directed clip for “Sorry” to her Vevo channel on Wednesday (June 22, 2016).

“Sorry” was written by Beyonce along with the song’s producers Diana “Wynter” Gordon and Sean “MeLo-X” Rhoda.

The track – featuring additional production duties from Hit-Boy and Stuart White – also appears on Beyonce’s latest album “Lemonade,” now available for download via Parkwood Entertainment and Columbia Records.

Rita Ora signs new deal with Atlantic Records UK

Rita Ora has signed a new deal with Atlantic Records UK.

“I’m so thankful to my new Atlantic Records family and First Access management for all their support and encouragement! The next chapter is going to be incredible,” the British singer-songwriter posted to her Instagram account.

Atlantic Records UK – which is an imprint of Warner Music Group – also houses artists including Charlie XCX, Jess Glynne, Ed Sheeran, Charlie Puth, Wiz Khalifa, Christina Perri, Jason Mraz, Lykke Li, and Kwabs.

As mentioned in an earlier post, Ora recently recorded new material with fellow recording artist Wynter Gordon (Beyonce, Mary J. Blige) and songwriter/producer Leon Thomas (Ariana Grande, Jessica Mauboy).

Her upcoming sophomore album reportedly delivers additional alliances with Diplo (Madonna), Julia Michaels (Selena Gomez), Justin Tranter (Gwen Stefani), Dev Hynes (Sky Ferreira) and Johnny McDaid (Harry Styles).

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “ORA,” which debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart and spawned singles including “How We Do (Party”), “Shine Ya Light” and “Radioactive.”

Rita Ora has recorded new music with Wynter Gordon and Leon Thomas.

Gordon’s songwriting resume boasts works with Beyonce (“Sorry”), Mary J. Blige (“Gonna Breakthrough”), Danity Kane (“2 of You”), Ciara (“Livin’ it Up”), David Guetta (“Toyfriend”) and Jennifer Lopez (“Starting Over”).

Meanwhile, Thomas is responsible for co-writing and co-producing singles performed by Zendaya (“Something New”), RaVaughn (“Best Friend”), Jessica Mauboy (“Can I Get a Moment”) and Samantha Jade (“Shake That”).

Ora, on the other hand, is expected to release her upcoming sophomore album later this year through Sony Music Entertainment / Columbia Records.

Beyonce has released her sixth album online.

“Lemonade” is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Parkwood Entertainment and Columbia Records.

The follow-up to 2013’s “Beyonce” boasts guest appearances from The Weeknd (“6 Inch”), Jack White (“Don’t Hurt Yourself”), Kendrick Lamar (“Freedom”) and James Blake (“Forward”).

Album producers include Diplo (Madonna), Mike Dean (Kanye West), Ezra Koenig (Vampire Weekend), Hit-Boy (Jennifer Hudson), Jonathan Coffer (Emeli Sande), Boots (FKA twigs), Just Blaze (Mariah Carey), Ben Billions (Travis Scott) and Mike WiLL Made It (Kelly Rowland).

On the songwriting front, Beyonce has teamed up with Wynter Gordon (Jennifer Lopez), The-Dream (Kehlani), Ilsey Juber (Charlie Puth), MNEK (Kylie Minogue), Carla Marie Williams (Britney Spears), Kevin Cossom (Mary J. Blige), Emile Haynie (Bruno Mars) and Rock City (Miley Cyrus).

“Lemonade” is also accompanied by a 60-minute short film of the same name, featuring visuals directed by Khalil Joseph, Malcolm Nichols, Melina Matsoukas, Todd Tourso, Dikayl Rimmasch, Jonas Åkerlund, and Mark Romanek.

Wynter Gordon premieres music video for new single “Bleeding Out”

Wynter Gordon has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The singer and songwriter – real name Diana Gordon – posted the visual clip for “Bleeding Out” to her Vevo channel on Tuesday (June 03, 2015).

Production duties on “Bleeding Out” were handled by Benny Cassette, whose resume includes works for Miguel [RCA], Sevyn Streeter [Atlantic], Keri Hilson [Interscope], Elle Varner [MBK] and Lily Allen [Parlophone].

The track is also lifted from Gordon’s latest mini-collection, “Five Needle,” now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Harvest Records.

On the songwriting front, Gordon’s credits include Mary J. Blige’s “Gonna Breakthrough” [Geffen], Ciara’s “Livin’ it Up” f/ Nicki Minaj [Epic], Danity Kane’s “Two of You” [Atlantic] and Jennifer Lopez’s “Everybody’s Girl” [Def Jam].

Wynter Gordon hits the studio with The Runners

Wynter Gordon has recently recorded new material with The Runners.

It is yet to be known whether last night’s session was intended for another artist or Gordon’s upcoming sophomore album.

The Runners consist of songwriters and record producers Andrew “Dru Brett” Harr and Jermaine “Mayne Zayne” Jackson.

Their resume includes works for Keyshia Cole (“Didn’t I Tell You”), Chris Brown (“Biggest Fan”), Cher Lloyd (“Swagger Jagger”), Kelly Rowland (“All of the Night”) and Nicole Scherzinger (“Tomorrow Never Dies”).

Meanwhile, Gordon previously co-wrote songs for other artists such as “Livin’ it Up” by Ciara [Epic Records], “2 of You” by Danity Kane [Bad Boy / Atlantic Records] and “Gonna Breakthrough” by Mary J. Blige [Geffen Records].

Her debut album, 2011’s “With the Music I Die,” peaked at number twenty five on the Australian Albums Chart and spawned hit singles “Dirty Talk,” “Til Death,” “Buy My Love” and “Still Getting Younger.”

Angel Haze shoots ‘Battle Cry’ music video with Frank Borin

Angel Haze has completed shooting the music video for her new single “Battle Cry” with Frank Borin, who previously teamed up with the artist on “No Bueno.”

Other notable videography credits by Borin include “Show Me Love (America)” by The Wanted [Island Records], “Somebody to Die For” by Hurts [Sony Music UK], and “Halfway Gone” by Simple Plan [Geffen Records].

“Battle Cry” serves as the second promotional single from Angel Haze’s debut album, “Dirty Gold,” out now via Universal Music Group / Island Records.

The track was co-written by Sia Furler and Greg Kurstin, who are also responsible for “Standing on the Sun” by Beyonce Knowles [Columbia Records] and “Double Rainbow” by Katy Perry [Capitol Records].

“Dirty Gold” boasts further contributions from James “Malay” Ho (Alicia Keys, Frank Ocean), Wynter Gordon (Ciara, Mary J. Blige), Jake Gosling (Paloma Faith, Ed Sheeran) and Frankie Storm (Rihanna, Kat Dahlia).

Angel Haze has revealed the credits for her debut album.

The singer/songwriter – born Raykeea Wilson – released “Dirty Gold” on December 30 via Universal Music Group / Island Records.

Lead single “Echelon (My Way)” was produced Markus Dravs, who’s known for collaborating with the likes of Coldplay [Warner Bros. Records], Arcade Fire [Virgin EMI Records] and Mumford & Sons [Island Records].

Other album producers include Greg Kurstin (Beyoncé, Dido Armstrong), Jake Gosling (Ed Sheeran, Paloma Faith), Mike Dean (Kanye West, John Legend) and James “Malay” Ho (Frank Ocean, Alicia Keys).

On the songwriting front, Haze has enlisted Sia Furler (Kylie Minogue, Britney Spears), Frankie Storm (Rihanna, Kat Dahlia), Wynter Gordon (Bridget Kelly, Mary J. Blige) and Natalia Kills (Junior Caldera, Far East Movement).

New single “I’m Out” was written by siblings Theron and Timothy Thomas of Planet VI, who are also responsible for singles “We Can’t Stop” by Miley Cyrus [RCA Records] and “Pour it Up” by Rihanna [Island Def Jam Recordings].
