FKA twigs teams with Oneohtrix Point Never for new song “Trust in Me”

FKA twigs has shared a new song online.

The self-directed Nike commercial entitled “Do You Believe in More?” – featuring the audio clip for “Trust in Me” – was posted to NikeWomen’s YouTube channel on Wednesday (January 11, 2017).

“Trust in Me” was written by FKA twigs alongside Joseph Williams and the song’s producer Daniel “Oneohtrix Point Never” Lopatin, who recently helmed several tracks on Anohni’s critically-acclaimed debut album, “HOPELESSNESS.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, the British singer/songwriter – real name Tahliah Barnett – is currently working on her upcoming sophomore studio collection under Young Turks Recordings.

The still-untitled project – featuring productions and songwriting contributions from Sia and Rick Nowels – follows to 2014’s “LP1,” which peaked to number thirty on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

Sampha announces details for debut album “Process”

Sampha has announced the details for his upcoming debut album.

The British electronic music singer, songwriter, and record producer – born Sampha Sisay – christened his first studio collection “Process” and will release it on February 3, 2017 via Young Turks Recordings.

Current single “Blood On Me” – which was produced by Sampha alongside Rodaidh McDonald – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

In related news, Sampha recently co-wrote and co-produced “Don’t Touch My Hair” for Solange alongside Patrick Wimberly, Dave Sitek and Raphael Saadiq. The track appears on Solange’s latest album, “A Seat at the Table.”

Sampha’s extensive resume boasts further works with FKA twigs (“Numbers”), Katy B (“Play”), Drake (“Too Much”), SBTRKT (“Hold On”), Emile Haynie (“A Kiss Goodbye”) and Jessie Ware (“Valentine”).

FKA twigs unleashes “Good to Love” music video

FKA twigs has unleashed the music video for her new single online.

The British singer-songwriter posted the self-directed visual clip for “Good to Love” to her YouTube channel on Thursday (February 18, 2016).

“Good to Love” was co-written and produced by Rick Nowels, whose recent credits include Adele (“Why Do You Love Me”), Madonna (“Beautiful Scars”), Lana Del Rey (“High By the Beach”) and Foxes (“Wicked Love”).

Meanwhile, twigs – real name Tahliah Barnett – will release her upcoming sophomore album later this year through Young Turks Recordings.

The still-untitled project – featuring songwriting contributions from fellow recording artist Sia Furler – serves as the follow-up to 2014’s “LP1,” which peaked to number thirty on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

Fans of Nowels’ songwriting and productions works, on the other hand, should look out for the next releases by Charli XCX [Neon Gold / Atlantic], HAIM [Polydor / Columbia] and Gwen Stefani [Interscope].

FKA twigs has worked with Sia for her upcoming sophomore album.

The Australian singer/songwriter previously co-wrote hits for Celine Dion (“Loved Me Back to Life”), Jennifer Lopez (“Expertease”), Jessie J (“Breathe”), Kylie Minogue (“Kiss Me Once”) and Kelly Clarkson (“Invisible”).

Furthermore, Sia’s next album “This is Acting” will hit stores and digital outlets later this year through Puzzle Monkey Records and RCA Records.

The follow-up to 2014’s “1000 Forms of Fear” includes songs that were initially pitched to Adele [XL], Beyonce [Columbia], Katy Perry [Capitol], Demi Lovato [Hollywood], Rihanna [Roc Nation] and Shakira [RCA].

FKA twigs’ first studio collection, 2014’s “LP1,” peaked to number thirty on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned three singles in the shape of “Two Weeks,” “Video Girl” and “Pendulum.”

Her current mini-collection “M3LL155X” – boasting contributions from Arca, Boots, Joel Compass, and Tic – is now available for download for download via iTunes in partnership with Young Turks Recordings.

FKA twigs has released her new EP online.

“M3LL155X” – featuring five new songs in the shape of “Figure 8,” “I’m Your Doll,” “In Time,” “Glass & Patron” and “Mothercreep” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Young Turks Recordings.

The EP boasts productions and songwriting contributions from regular collaborators Jordan “Boots” Asher (Beyonce, Kelela), Timmaz “Tic” Zolleyn (SBTRKT, Jessie Ware) and Joel Compass (Lion Babe, Nicola Roberts).

Twigs’ debut studio collection, 2014’s “LP1,” peaked to number 16 on the UK Albums Chart and number 30 on the US Billboard Albums Chart. That CD also delivered international hits including “Two Weeks,” “Video Girl,” “Pendulum.”

FKA twigs has revealed the title for her upcoming EP.

The British singer and songwriter – real name Tahliah Barnett – christened her next mini-collection “Melissa” and will release it later this year.

Lead single “Glass & Patron” was co-produced by Jordan “Boots” Asher, whose other credits include Beyonce’s “Haunted” [Columbia Records] and Kelela’s “A Message” [Cherry Coffee Music].

The debut album by FKA twigs, 2014’s “LP1,” was released under Young Turks Recordings. It peaked to number sixteen on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Two Weeks” and “Video Girl.”

“LP1” also featured alliances with Emile Haynie (Bruno Mars, Lana Del Rey), Paul Epworth (Adele, Florence Welch), Dev Hynes (Tinashe, Jessie Ware), Joel Compass (MNEK, Lion Babe) and Clams Casino (Mikky Ekko, Pia Mia).

FKA twigs unveils “Video Girl” visual clip

FKA twigs has unveiled a new music video online.

The British singer/songwriter posted the Kahlil Joseph-directed clip for “Video Girl” to her official YouTube page on Wednesday (October 29, 2014).

“Video Girl” was produced by Emile Haynie, whose extensive resume includes works for Emeli Sande (“My Kind of Love”), Bruno Mars (“Locked Out of Heaven”) and Lana Del Rey (“Summertime Sadness”).

The track is lifted from FKA twigs’ debut album “LP1,” now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Young Turks Recordings.

Other musicians backing twigs on “LP1” are Devonte Hynes (Tinashe, Jessie Ware), Clams Casino (Mikky Ekko, Jhene Aiko), Paul Epworth (Adele, John Legend) and Joel Compass (Cheryl Cole, Nicola Roberts)
