FKA twigs reveals official tracklist for new EP “Melissa”

FKA Twigs has revealed the official tracklist for her upcoming EP.

The British singer/songwriter – born Tahliah Barnett – is scheduled to release “Melissa” later this year through Young Turks Recordings.

Production duties on the highly-anticipated mini-collection are headed by Jordan “Boots” Asher, who’s known for his contributions on Beyonce’s critically acclaimed self-titled fifth studio album.

FKA Twigs’ debut album, 2014’s “LP1,” debuted at number sixteen on the UK Albums Chart and number thirty on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

That collection also spawned collaborations with Emile Haynie (“Two Weeks”), Devonte Hynes (“Hours”), Paul Epworth (“Pendulum”), Joel Compass (“Kicks”) and Sampha (“Numbers”) and Arca (“Lights On”).

FKA twigs debuts new song “Pendulum”

FKA twigs has debuted a new song online.

“Pendulum” is lifted from the British singer/songwriter’s upcoming debut album, “LP1,” out on August 12 via British independent label Young Turks.

The track was produced by Paul Epworth, whose resume also includes works for John Legend [Columbia Records], Adele [XL Recordings], CeeLo Green [Elektra Records] and Lana Del Rey [Interscope Records].

“Two Weeks” – which marks the lead single from “LP1” – is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets. It accompanying music video was shot by famed photographer and director, Nabil Elderkin.

Devonte “Blood Orange” Hynes, Emile Haynie and Alejando “Arca” Ghersi are among the other musicians backing FKA Twigs – born Tahliah Barnett – on the highly-anticipated new album, “LP1.”

FKA Twigs releases music video for new single “Two Weeks”

FKA Twigs has released the music video for her new single online.

“Two Weeks” marks the first promotional single from the singer/songwriter’s highly-anticipated debut album, “LP1,” out on August 12.

The track – which was co-written by Tahliah “Twigs” Barnett – is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

Video treatment was handled by Nabil, whose credits include John Legend’s “All of Me” [Columbia Records], Nicki Minaj’s “Lookin’ Ass Nigga” [Young Money Records] and The Weeknd’s “Twenty Eight” [Republic Records].

“LP1” serves as the follow-up to previous mini-albums “EP1” and “EP2,” which were released via Young Turks. The XL Recordings imprint is also home to artists including Kwes, Sampha, Jamie xx, and Kid Harpoon.
