Amber Mark premieres music video for new single “Heatwave”

Amber Mark has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The American singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “Heatwave” to her Vevo channel on Wednesday (September 6th, 2017).

The track was co-written and co-produced by Mark Ralph, whose credits also include Taya’s “When Ur Sober,” Zac Samuel’s “Never Letting Go,” Jax Jones’s “Instruction,” Clean Bandit’s “Disconnect,” Zara Larsson’s “Symphony,” Frances’s “Under Our Feet,” and Era Istrefi’s “Redrum.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Mark’s upcoming project and follow-up to “3:33am” is expected to arrive later this year via Jasmine Music in parternship with PMR Records and Virgin EMI Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly delivers additional alliances with Two Inch Punch (Jessie Reyez), Sarah Aarons (Dua Lipa), Noah Breakfast (Becky Hill), STINT (AlunaGeorge), Zac Samuel (Taya) and Jeff Gitty (Kelsey Lu).

Zac Samuel drafts Kyla for new promotional single “Play it Cool”

British record producer and songwriter Zac Samuel has delivered his new promotional single online.

“Play it Cool” – featuring Kyla – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The co-written by Emma Davidson-Dillon alongside TMS (aka Peter “Merf” Kelleher, Benjamin Kohn and Thomas “Froe” Barnes), who are also responsible for Ghosted’s “Get Some,” Dua Lipa’s “Bad Together,” Birdy’s “Wild Horses,” Fleur East’s “Gold Watch,” and Emeli Sande’s “Highs & Lows.”

Samuel’s upcoming project – featuring the Taya & Moon Willis-assisted “Never Letting Go” – is expected to arrive later this year via Jasmine Music in partnership with PMR Records and Polydor Records.

Meanwhile, fans of TMS’s songwriting and production works should keep an eye on the next releases by Anne-Marie, Jess Glynne, Ella Henderson, Craig David, RAYE, Imani Williams, Louis Tomlinson, Paloma Faith, Becky Hill, Nick Jonas, Ellie Goulding, Zak Abel, Era Istrefi, and Rihanna.

Kyla signs new publishing deal with BMG

British singer/songwriter Kyla Marie Smith, mononymously known as Kyla, has signed a new publishing deal with BMG.

Known in the UK for her singles “Do You Mind” and “Daydreaming,” Kyla shot to international stardom by providing guest vocals on Drake’s “One Dance,” which topped the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart.

Her current promotional single “Should’ve Been Me,” with UK Record producer Naughty Boy and Jamaican dancehall star Popcaan, is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

In addition to Mustafa Omer and James Murray of Mojam Music, who co-produced Naughty Boy’s “Should’ve Been Me,” Kyla has recorded further material with producers including Invisible Men (Kylie Minogue), Zac Samuel (Taya), Starsmith (Ellie Goulding), Moon Willis (Anne-Marie), Youthonix (Tanika), Sacha Skarbek (Miley Cyrus) and Banx & Ranx (Dua Lipa).

Among the songwriters Kyla has worked with are Andrea Martin (Monica), Lindy Robbins (Jason Derulo), Dayo Olatunji (Ella Henderson), Carmen Reece (Nathan Sykes), Eyelar (Tinashe), Carla Marie Williams (Craig David), Jenna Andrews (Kiesza), Negin Djafari (Bobii Lewis) and Alicia Renee (Tamia).

Zac Samuel, Moon Willis release music video for new single “Never Letting Go”

Zac Samuel has released the music video for his new single online.

The British DJ and house producer posted the Courtney Phillips-directed clip for “Never Letting Go” to his Vevo channel on Thursday (September 28, 2016).

“Never Letting Go” – now available for download via iTunes – was co-written by Tom Aspaul (Little Mix), Ruth-Anne Cunningham (Britney Spears), Julian Bunetta (Fifth Harmony) and Benjamin Ash (Jessie Ware).

The track – which is a collaboration with fellow record producer Moon Willis and Atlantic-signed vocalist Taya – also marks the first promotional cut from Samuel’s upcoming project under PMR Records and Polydor Records.
