Zara Larsson hits the studio with Caroline Ailin, Jack Patterson of Clean Bandit

Swedish singer/songwriter Zara Larsson has enlisted Caroline Ailin and Jack Patterson of Clean Bandit for a new collaboration.

Patterson previously co-produced and co-wrote “Hold My Hand” for Jess Glynne alongside Janee “Jin Jin” Bennett, Ina Wroldsen, and Finlay “Starsmith” Dow-Smith. Taken from Glynne’s debut studio collection “I Cry When I Laugh,” the track debuted at number one on the UK Singles Chart.

Meanwhile, Ailin’s songwriting resume boasts works with Dua Lipa (“New Rules”), Tiffany Hwang (“Talk”), Olivia Holt (“History”), Aanysa (“Burn Break Crash”), Rachel Platten (“Hey Hey Hallelujah”), Grades (“Crocodile Tears”), JKay (“Danger”), Alex Adair (“Casual”) and Tulecco (“Creative”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Larsson’s upcoming album and follow-up to “So Good” is expected to arrive early next year via TEN Music Group in partnership with Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly boasts further contributions from MNEK (Tamera Foster), Hit Impulse (Ella Eyre), Madison Love (Jasmine Thompson), Sermstyle (Demi Lovato), Brittany “Delacey” Armadio (Madison Beer), Jim Lavigne (Kevin Gates) and William Wiik Larsen (Jessie Reyez).

Zara Larsson reunites with MNEK for new collaboration

Swedish singer/songwriter Zara Larsson has reunited with fellow recording artist MNEK for a new collaboration.

The pair previously teamed up on international hit single “Never Forget You,” which debuted at number five on the UK Singles Chart and peaked to number thirteen on the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart.

Additionally, MNEK’s current promotional single “Paradise” – which samples Ultra Nate’s “Free” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Meanwhile, Larsson is expected to release her third album – featuring further contributions from Hitimpulse – in 2018 via TEN Music Group / Epic Records.

The still-untitled collection follows “So Good,” which was released earlier this year and spawned singles including “Don’t Let Me Be Yours,” “Symphony,” “Lush Life,” “I Would Like” and “Ain’t My Fault.”

Fans of MNEK’s songwriting and production works, on the other hand, should keep an eye on the next releases by Mullally, Anne-Marie, Craig David, Akon, Naughty Boy, Kara Marni, Cassie, Ella Henderson, Rozes, Charli XCX, Mabel McVey, Ray BLK, Chromeo, Tamera Foster, Melissa Steel, Diztortion, Kenzie May, Leah McFall, Mo Adeniran, Kamille, and Christina Aguilera.

Zara Larsson selects “Don’t Let Me Be Yours” as new single

Zara Larsson has selected “Don’t Let Me Be Yours” as the next promotional cut from her latest album, “So Good,” now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Larsson alongside Johnny McDaid and fellow recording artist Ed Sheeran, who also penned songs for James Blunt (“Time of Our Lives”), Taylor Swift (“Everything Has Changed”), Hillary Duff (“Tattoo”), Justin Bieber (“Love Yourself”), Major Lazer (“Cold Water”), Tori Kelly (“I Was Made for Loving You”) and Jessie Ware (“Say You Love Me”).

Production duties on “Don’t Let Me Be Yours” were handled by Steve Mac, whose other credits include Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You,” Clean Bandit’s “Symphony,” Louisa Johnson’s “So Good,” Birdy’s “Hear You Calling,” Anne-Marie’s “Alarm,” Sabrina Carpenter’s “Thumbs,” and Demi Lovato’s “Kingdom Come.”

In addition to previous singles “Lush Life” and “Ain’t My Fault,” Larsson’s latest album delivers further productions and songwriting contributions from Stargate (“Sun Down”), Julia Michaels (“One Mississippi”), Stint (“Make That Money Girl”), Ana Diaz (“Funeral”) and MNEK (“What They Say”).

Zara Larsson unwraps tracklist for new album “So Good”

Zara Larsson has unwrapped the tracklist for her upcoming album, “So Good,” which will arrive on March 17 via TEN Music Group and Epic Records.

The title track – now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets – was co-written by Charlie Puth alongside Jacob “JKash” Kasher (Ariana Grande, Jake Miller), LunchMoney Lewis (Meghan Trainor, Ricky Reed) and DannyBoyStyles (Jason Derulo, Nicki Minaj).

Other album songwriters include Livvi Franc (Rihanna), JHart (Keith Urban), Eskeerdo (Fifth Harmony), Julia Michaels (Tinashe), Ed Sheeran (Taylor Swift), Ana Diaz (Britney Spears), Johnny McDaid (Harry Styles), Ina Wroldsen (Jess Glynne) and Ammar Malik (Selena Gomez).

On the production front, Larsson has also teamed up with Mike Spencer (Gabrielle Aplin), Steve Mac (Ella Henderson), Fred Ball (Jessie Ware), MAG (Colbie Caillat), Jason Gill (Tove Lo), M-Phazes (Keyshia Cole), DJ Freedo (Little Mix), MNEK (Craig David) and The Monsters & The Strangerz (Bebe Rexha).

La’Porsha Renae has confirmed the details for her upcoming debut album.

The singer/songwriter christened her first studio collection “Already All Ready” and will release it on March 31 via 19 Recordings and Motown Records.

Current promotional single “What is Love” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Amongst the producers backing Renae on “Already All Ready” are Harmony Samuels (Sevyn Streeter, Jordin Sparks), Edgar “JV” Etienne (Pia Mia, Keyshia Cole) and Shaffer “Ne-Yo” Smith (Jennifer Hudson, Kelly Rowland).

The highly-anticipated project also delivers songwriting contributions from Tiffany Fred (Zendaya, Pixie Lott), Al Sherrod Lambert (Fantasia, Tamar Braxton), Guordan Banks (K. Michelle, Vivian Green), Jason “Poo Bear” Boyd (Rita Ora, Sam Smith) and Zara Larsson (Tinie Tempah, Fifth Harmony).

Clean Bandit drafts Zara Larsson for new single “Symphonies”

British electronic music group Clean Bandit – composed of Grace Chatto and siblings Jack and Luke Patterson – have selected “Symphonies” as the next promotional single from their upcoming sophomore album.

The Zara Larsson-featuring track was written by Jack Patterson alongside Ina Wroldsen (Tinie Tempah, Janelle Monae), Ammar Malik (Selena Gomez, Camila Cabello) and Steve Mac (Jess Glynne, Ed Sheeran).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Clean Bandit’s second studio collection – featuring previous promotional singles “Tears” and “Rockabye” – will arrive later this year via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

The follow-up to 2014’s “New Eyes” reportedly delivers further contributions from Toby Gad (Beyonce), Cass Lowe (Nick Jonas), Priscilla Renea (Kelly Clarkson), Labrinth (Noah Cyrus) Natasha Bedingfield (Tori Kelly).
